I had someone ask for more pics of my Rainbow Sundance so I thought I'd make a new thread. I LOVE alternate rehairs and I have made several over the years. Please share pics of yours if you have any. I love them all.

I absolutely adore alternate rehairs and wish there was a larger market for them because I’d throw my money at the artists so fast! Here are two of mine (bought, not made)

I would do alternate rehairs all day every day as long as I had ponies that needed the help. I love giving these old girls a new lease on life and making them beautiful again.

Here's a few more I've done. About half I keep and the other half are sold to new homes.

These are a few of the alternate re-hairs that I’ve done. I’m pretty sure a few members (@Tak @tsukikakushi & @Cactusflower) here have several alternate re-hairs from me too.

These girls specifically all got symbol upgrades and glitter details added to them. :rainbowpoop:

This thread has so much eye-candy. :ponylove: Ya'll are making me jealous - and wishing I had the patience for re-hairing!

@Skybreeze - I normally despise glitter with a passion, but omigoodness. Those girls look SO GOOD. <3 The eyeshadow, the symbols, the colors... just wow. If you started a glam retro G1 line, I'd go broke!
 
Every single one of these is just gorgeous. I can't help but laugh a little though. Can you imagine trying to animate a pony with hair that long?! I am thinking full-on Stooges-Style comedy would ensue.

Lol I tried to find a clip of that scene in Tangled before she has the braid where they arrive in the city and her hair is getting caught on everything and people are stepping on it cause that’s what your comment made me think of :lolpony: couldn’t find it though

YES, that's exactly what I'm imagining too, except with Rainbow Dash's angry-face every 3rd frame. :shock:
