Shaving down First Tooth?

Apologies if that title sounds a bit brutal. I like the poses of some of the First Tooth ponies but don't care for them in general. Could the tooth be shaved down to make them look like regular babies during customization? That would probably change the color of the mouth and make it shinier, correct?

That would depend on what's going on with the plastic, but theoretically it works. I'd use a tiny dremel to shape that mouth.

You might be able to cut it off with a sharp exacto knife?

Here's a Mouscedes King custom that I think is what you are going for.

If you don't have a dremel I would suggest a round needle file. They're used a lot for jewelry so they might be with those supplies.
