Show Off Your Yellow Ponies

Summer Heatwave is perfect but for a dent on her left side. I've tried to fix it by filling her with hot water, but it's not enough to bend the plastic outwards again, so I'll have to find another solution. If anybody has succeeded in fixing a similar problem I'd be grateful for any tips.

I had no idea this pony existed until now. Yellow is my favourite colour and she is very yellow!

My suggestion is warming with water again or a hairdryer and then putting a ball or maybe a ball of paper inside until the pony cools down? I’m not sure that’ll help though as I’ve never had this problem before

I actually thought about this, but I would need to find something that is small enough to fit through the neck hole but large enough to press her flank outwards. I was considering marbles, but they are too small.

What about scrunched up paper like inside new shoes? I’m not sure if that’ll be too soft though. You could put it inside the pony before warming with a hairdryer and then stuff more inside when warmed up and cooling?

Hmm, yes, interesting idea! I'll try this method at the weekend. :D

@IceCrystal I would just use something like a big Popsicle stick to push it out while she cools and hold it in place. My guess is it'll only take a few minutes, not like hours for her to cool down. G1s do pretty well with heat. I've done customs with oven bake clay details that required baking the pony at 275 degrees Fahrenheit multiple times (although obviously not with hair!) and they get soft and a little squishy but they don't melt/squoosh out of shape. I'd remove the tail just to keep it safe and blast her with the hair dryer, then hold the spot in place with an implement and run her under cool water. I'd even try a heat gun if you've got one (if the hair dryer doesn't work). But definitely start far off and slowly work your way closer to the pony.

You can try warming her with a heating pad & putting something inside her to push the dent out. Then put her in the freezer to cool it down to set.

Sorry for the double post. I messed up on quoting & replying.

Good idea, I'll definitely try putting her in the freezer afterwards, thanks for the tip!

I got this lovely Masquerade along with the other ponies I recently posted, but she spent some time outside until yesterday, sunfading the two "highlighter marks" on her chest and right leg. They are now gone and her only remaining flaw is a faint brown spot (probably cancer) in her left symbol.

G3 March Daffodil wanted to see the dwarf daffodils outside today (the larger cultivars aren't in bloom yet).
