For some reason I can no longer get the emojis on the 3 dots to come up anymore with my phone....any thoughts on what I have done wrong? They used to be a dark color, now they're all a dull grey and no options come up. And when I try to reply to a comment it looks all strange.....

Hmm they’re loading for me. They’re located in the “middle” 3 dotted section now.
But you can also manually type them into your messages. For example the laughing pony you would type :lol pony: only without the space

Not that I’ve seen. You could experiment. I’ve never had the emojis not work, though.

That is odd. I guess a lot depends on what browser, site version, device, and os update on the device. Way too complicated for my tired brain to figure out.

That’s odd. What browser/device(s) do you use when browsing?

I mostly use my Google pixel XL 2 when it doesn't work. When I'm on the PC it works just fine. It also works on the shout box which is weird that it doesn't work in these conversations, it's ok I just deal with it
