Yay! We finally got some snow! It’s so quiet and peaceful. Love it!!! Wesley and I don’t go out in it since metal implants are not compatible with below freezing weather. We enjoy from inside. E will get a pony pic.

Beautiful! We've gotten a little more than usual lately. I'm hoping for at least really good one. Enjoy it!

I say this in the nicest way possible but y’all are nuts. ;)

I’m so over snow again this year, I am anxiously awaiting spring when the weather is nice and I can go out without layers upon layers of clothing just to not die from cold. The older I get the more and more I understand “snow birds” and travelling/living south during the winter months.

We only get snow once or twice a year. Rain for 300 days, snow 1-2, and a few very rare non-windy sunny days. :lolpony: Honestly, our weather is so mild. I'm spoiled. Where I used to live in the high desert we got up to 110F for months in summer and a few months of five feet of snow in the winter. Now, it goes below 40 and I'm staying home, too cold, or above 85, too hot, home again. I love this area. Plus, couple hours one way is the ocean, a couple hours the other and it's the cascades mountains.

To sum up, snow is nice, less than a foot deep and the longest it's stayed in 20 years is 10 days straight. The whole city just shuts down and enjoys the snow.

@Tak woah, the whole city shutting down for the snow sounds awesome! Like a city wide snow day
@Skybreeze i’m always excited for the snow to begin in December and I’m fine with it through January, but by the time February is over I’m definitely over the snow too lol

Jelly we hardly ever get snow. When we do you’d think its the end of the world how people shop.

It’s reached just over a foot deep now. Poor Wesley needs a path cleared for him to potty. It’s up past his little legs. He’s not really cold, but that bad leg is aching. He says that schipperkes are meant for rain and water, not snow.

I couldn't handle more than maybe two weeks of it a year. I also second the crazy drivers. People here get studded tires (yes, even though snow is rare) and they think that means that they can speed as usual. That's why the city pretty much shuts down. Fast food and restaurants closed, pretty much just the skeleton crews at the grocery and gas is all there is. Nobody wants to be out on the roads. We don't have enough plows. Where I live is a few blocks from the main hospital... life flight goes overhead frequently and sirens are normal.

I love having it for a little while once a year. I prefer rain.

I live in the South and it is snowing outside! We also had a high temperature today only in the single digits which is like... completely unheard of. I don't remember ever seeing that happen in my entire my life, and it's going to happen again tomorrow.

I welcome the cold. Because I know it's going to keep the bugs from being as bad as they could have been.
