My local secondhand toy shop just got a bunch of ponies in this week and look who it is! Baby Princess Sparkle and Baby Nectar! They are the cutest!
Princess Sparkle was priced at $70 and Nectar was priced at $25 but I was so fortunate to have a gift certificate to the store so without costing me anything, they came home with me! I'm very lucky to have a buddy who has a storage locker full of old transformers that he routinely takes to that store to trade in for store credit, and then gives the credits away for birthday and Christmas presents. He is an absolute angel!
She is in OK condition. Certainly not perfect but not terrible! There's some rubbing on her symbol on both sides, and her hair needs re-pinking. I really love her multi-colored tinsel!
Nectar is adorable and looking great! She(?) is the second pony friend in my collection, the other being Creamsicle. At one point I also had Kingsley and Baby Wooly, but they've been rehomed since then. I didn't think I was all that interested in pony friends and usually excluded them from my wishlists, but oh no... maybe I do want to collect more after all!
Another free item today! After the toy store I walked across the street to the comics store and picked up the 40th Anniversary Special -finally! I ordered it months ago and have been waiting for them to call me about it but they never did. Turns out it was sitting there waiting for me all this time. Technically I paid for this ages ago when I preorded. But hey, I didn't have to pay anything today so that's free to me. GIRL MATH!
I'm excited to read all the stories. The one associated with the cover looks especially cute!
So that's it for my little brag! I'd also like to mention the other ponies my toy store had in stock. Are any others worth grabbing?
