I am usually very nervous about sharing photos anywhere but the photo threads have helped me feel a bit more comfortable sharing my pony photos here. Everyone’s been so kind and the responses to photos have been very warm and friendly, thank you all! I’m glad they’re enjoyed by others

So since the other photo threads I’ve shared pictures on have closed, I have decided to start my own photo thread. I’ll see how this goes. I like seeing pony photos shared by other pony lovers and to know other people could feel what I feel from my pictures too seems like a good reason to continue

To start off, here are a few photos I have taken today:

how cute is honolu-loo? i miss having her and i need to get her again. my poor old honolu-loo was drawn all over with marker. she looks so beautiful with those flowers!

Honolu was I think the first baby pony I ever had but my original one had gone missing as a kid. Me and my older sister used to argue over who got to play with her and then she vanished. The Honolu-loo I have now was one from here

I didn’t actually notice the reaction was “haha” at first, you was very fast to swap it!

I’ve had Atmos as my OC for so many years but they finally got a name that has stuck with them since a month or two ago

Thanks! I have not done an OC yet and I have been really thinking hard about it. I recently did a custom for a special friend and loved how she came out. I am getting close and this avatar is so much what I feel OctoberMoon will become

I took a couple more photos today. I quickly took a picture with Scootaloo before the mini eggs get eaten

Then later on I found some flowers but they were in the shade. The last two are edited up a bit for brightness

Primroses! I miss seeing them growing wild in the UK. They're only at florists around here. So sweet. I love that burlap hat. It makes any pony into a gardener.

I hardly see them growing around in the wild, I’m in the UK too and the only wildflowers I usually see a bit like that are the little crocuses. I didn’t get a chance to get a picture of a pony with them earlier last month (or month before), they had already finished for the year. The primroses were in the relative’s garden today

If you’re wondering where the hat is from, it’s from a 2003 Bratz set, Spring Blitz. It’s amazing how it can suit many ponies and fits on the G3 ones too!

I have some more pony photos!

Whenever I get new ponies I always take lots of pictures of them with the aim of getting one that shows off their characteristics for my collection catalogues I have to keep track of everyone in it. A couple of days ago I took out Starbeam with my best friend to get some pictures. My phone died during it and had to take them on hers which is why half the pictures my seem a bit different in the lighting. The wind picked up and it got hard to take the pictures, as seen in the final one

When I got home I realised I couldn’t see both hoof design and much of the cutie mark in the pictures for my catalogue, so I took more in the garden the next day. I forget I have a planisphere in my room so it made sense to use it with Starbeam. I thought it was the 23rd when I took the picture but it was actually the 21st… so the stars in this are set to those on the night sky of April 23rd

Also, here is little Flower Wishes on an adventure and dog Spike!

I think pictures come out much better than they do from eye view when I take them because you see the ponies and scenery from a new angle so even if you do set up a pony in a really bleak place (I never want to take pictures where Spike is), they end up fine. I’ve seen people set up little charms and stuff around their ponies, just little and random things and it makes such a nice scene. I sometimes wonder if I never lost all my pony accessories that I had as a kid, what sort of pictures could I take with them? All I have left is the teaspoon from my Sharing Tea with Mochanut and Tira-Mi-Su set…? (It’s the really small spoon)

I used to take lots pictures of other figures during my school years and ended up stopping for a really long time (maybe a few years or something like that?) because I ran out of ideas and exhausted all the places I could go to. Also, I broke one of my favourites during a photoshoot and that was that. I still find it a bit tricky now to find new places to take them. During the winter it’s tricky because it’s cold and hardly any colourful flowers about which is why I got a lightbox and I can change the backgrounds in there but it’s a bit small, still good though
All I really use in my photos is just my ponies and my phone camera and that is all. I don’t think you really need much to take great photos at all

Here I am again with a few pony photos! I haven’t taken some in a while but I need to get my pictures for my collection catalogue thing done again so I’ve taken some of Celestia, here’s one of them that turned out well:

And today, I decided to take a bunch of pictures of Upside-Down AJ and my McFarlane Demogorgon because they’re both Stranger Things and the first part of the new series was released today so to celebrate, here they are having a lot of fun together. This is just a select few out of many that I took:
