I’m a collector from Sweden. I love alternative ponies, and I think my favorite is German Starshine because she is the perfect mix of two of my childhood ponies; Starshine and Surprise.

One of my favourite childhood ponies is the bubbly Fizzy, though I got to know her only through the TV-series and never knew there was an actual toy of her. I was thrilled to discover this as a grown up collector, but became perplexed by her colour scheme. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but something was "off" about Fizzy –– or "upside down", if you will.

I've seen Fizzy reimagined as "reversed" verisons before, but I never was a fan of that pose. So when I made my custom out of a worn Starflower not only did I want to put her mane colours in the right order, she also got a darker body colour and magenta eyes. I wasn't going to reveal her to the world before Ponyfest in Stockholm this August, but Jewel has lured her out of hiding.

Presenting my alternate custom pony Fizzy. She is a one-of-a-kind, blabbermouth "space cadet" just like me, and that is why I ♡ her.

US collector here! I'm super excited for season 3 of Stranger Things; especially if ponies are involved! This girl is one of my favorite varients; I just love her body color.

<3 I'm quite intrigued by international color variants. I like how ponies I've seen that aren't originally rainbow, are rainbow in other countries like this Moondancer

My faviourate alt pony is Turned head Starshine.:) Not sure if she counts... but.
Why.. as a young teen I had Moonstone and Starshine. They were in love (starshine was a boy, moonstone a girl) and evil Majesty kept trying to steal starshine.
I really really wanted the starshine with the turned head... I *think* That the packaging I had showed her/him with a turned head on the back... So I did manage to loosen his head, so it turned. Sadly Moonstones neck insides broke.. so I had to glue her head on!

So.. as an adult, and collector I wanted my moonstone and starshine back.:)
Now have alts of them all!

I'm in England. :)

I can't pick an all time favourite alternate pony (there are too many!) but one of my favourites in my collection is Novia (Argentinean Truly/Wedding Pony). Truly is my favourite pony anyway, and I love this girl's pearly body and sparkly hair. She's also in one of my favourite poses.

Yes please. I work for the other retail giant and so stay far away from places like Target. I am in the Is. This may be stretching alternate a bit but love my custom Cheese pony who is my alternate to the real thing. Pics behind MLP is Cheese. First post so hopefully I can get the pic u
