I don't think I've ever seen yellow-haired Tassels before! And Baby Bowtie is always love.
Can't wait to see their after pics!

I understand that the Tassels had no hair when she got her, and she chose to rehair her with yellow. I think it looks cute and am looking forward to finishing the rehair up

Color restored! This pony took really well to sun-fading! Next steps are rehairing some bald spots, softening and styling the hair, putting the tail back in, and touching up the paint

I'm still so floored by how well this works! I wonder how long these treatments last! I hope people will try to keep a recollection of it for future know-how.

I think that’s the beauty of it: they’re given new life, but that new life, like all life, won’t last forever; perhaps they’ll be given life again in the distant future! It’s not about keeping them in perfect condition, it’s about loving and respecting them by making them clean and beautiful again, even if only temporarily. Maybe I’m just being sentimental, but that’s part of why I love restoring downtrodden ponies so much.

Hello! I’m the proud owner of the newly restored blonde Tassels and Baby Bowtie. They arrived home today and look gorgeous! I highly recommend @SudsyPony services if you are like me and lack the skills or ambition to diy.



Tassels saddle paint was damaged and chipped and she repainted it for me. The color match is incredible! My OG Tassels does have brighter pink but the pink on Blonde Tassels matches very closely to what she originally had. SudsyPony also rehaired her and cleaned out gunk I didn’t even realize existed.


And Baby Bow. I think those pics speak for themselves. Look at that lovely blue! She also filled in some missing hair plugs and informed me of brown gunk discovered in the body that she cleaned and will now be monitored by me to make sure it doesn’t come back or spread.

Sudsy was very friendly and informative, notifying me of things I wasn’t aware of and keeping me updated on the progress. It’s been a great experience working with her and I look forward to seeing more updates on this thread.

Oh my goodness. Tassels' hair! It's so perfectly coiled, so lustrous, so perfect!

Wowwww, I love the change of paint to go with Tassels’ reroot . She looks like a whole new pony!
I will never not love Baby Bow Tie, she looks beautiful too!

At first I thought Blonde Tassels was a giant version of OG Tassels and this was a size comparison. I was thinking I had no idea there were big Merry-Go-Round Ponies!

The colour matching is amazing

Here is Baby Bow’s paint touch up

Rehair (the hair color didn't change; the lighting is just different between pics)

Bite mark removal

I removed these bite marks by gently shaving off the surface layer of the pony with an xacto knife and then lightly buffing with ultra-fine sandpaper. There is still a subtle mark there but it no longer looks like little teeth gnawed on it.

I really enjoyed working on Bow and Tassels, and I am so happy @JadeCade gave my services a shot. Looking forward to doing more restorations for my fellow pony lovers~

In the meantime, I am SO VERY EXCITED for my next project! I will be restoring this So Soft Wind Whistler! Wind Whistler is one of my all-time favorite ponies, and I am beyond happy to have found her!
