Some of the pony stuff I've been hunting down this summer! I picked up this year's Hallmark ornament during their ornament premiere (she does indeed have a wonky back leg but she's still pretty), the Hot Topic exclusive Blue Belle Funko Pop, and then a coloring book that I randomly picked up at Target because I don't have a whole lot of G4.5 stuff and I liked the art in it. And then of course we have my first G5, Izzy! She is absolutely gorgeous and I am in love. The quality seems to be a big improvement from the past couple of years, and personally I'm really happy about the changes Hasbro is making to their packaging. Izzy's was almost entirely recyclable, so good for them.

Izzy is definitely growing on me. Her sweet li'l smile is so adorable. And the hair is a decided improvement from the one thin strip the G4s have had the past few years.

I think she's considered a large/fashion size (6 inches), and the regular ponies are still 3 inches tall. Since they're thinner they feel so tiny compared to other generations, the fashion size ones almost feel more natural :surprisepony:

Oh my gosh! Are they as small as the G4’s? Those things are tiny! Kind of glad I got a fashion size version now!

I actually like the regular size G5s a lot more than I thought I would. They're awfully small but they're SO CUTE. And I love that their hair was kind of styled into the way it is in the art/show. If you're looking for quality in terms of plastic and hair, I'd definitely say go for the 6-inch ones, but if you want an adorable little friend to hang out with you at your desk these are the way to go. XD
