Today my Mom showed me a local lot from FB marketplace that someone was selling as she was getting rid of all the toys from her daycare business she’s no long doing.

My mom went to pick it up for me as I was doing some stuff with the dogs at the time. Well, turns out my Mom knew this woman when she was in high school! And the lady got all these MLP’s from MY AUNT like 20 years ago. Mom comes home. Two containers that I say “ha ha remember when I had those boxes as a kid.” Mom said “look at the name on them” MY NAME and initials!!! These were some of my ponies I had given to my younger cousins when I “out grew” them!

Almost all of these are doubles for me - but these girls are going to be staying. They’re all really dirty and need a good scrub but they’re all still beautiful and Starflower is like new! I’ve already washed her and she’s drying but as I was cleaning I thought this has even aged on her symbols, is she a repro and no. She’s stunning. I’m so excited to have her but also to have MINE back. Definitely I pick me up that I’ve needed desperately. <3

Here’s everyone that’s been well loved. I will post updated pictures after everyone’s spa days.

I’m am thrilled to bits. The smell of them too. Ugh. It’s like magic opening the boxes. Lol
Here’s a picture that shows just how grubby they actually all are. I don’t thing any have had a wash down. Obviously I’m not only washing but also disinfecting and then a good scrub.

Oh wow, I absolutely love cleaning ponies but have no money to buy them, that looks so fun to clean a bunch of ponies with good memories attached to them years later. It’s incredible you found the, on Facebook all these years later!

Wow Skybreeze! Getting family ponies back after decades sounds like a once in a lifetime coincidence! What a great group too.

I’m honestly amazed. These weren’t all mine some we’re definitely my cousin’s but I know for a fact the sea ponies were mine because my cousins never had any of them. And I know Windy & baby Heart Throb were mine for sure because they both had loose tails and in fact HT’s tail isn’t actually attached but just between her legs. Lol I remember playing with them and just popping the tails back in both of them.

That’s incredible how you’ve managed to get your ponies back so many years later and not only that but your cousins! The ponies have stayed in your family! I bet the ponies are just as thrilled as you are to be back with someone so familiar and not a total stranger

This is a great story and so good your mum was able to grab them for you before they went

This almost made me cry!!! I am so happy for you...oh I can just imagine the feeling of joy you had when you saw them. What a wonderful surprise for such a crappy year. Congratulations!!!<3:flutter2:

WOW! What an awesome story, I would hold on to those ponies and never let go! I was looking for something to watch last night, ended up on the new Disney+ Black Beauty (was okay) but now all I can think about are your ponies, the journey they must've had and finally making it back home to the owner they loved

Omg now even I am close to tears, and I'm not an overly sentimental person (or at least not in all aspects of life - I'm more sentimental when it comes to animals - and obviously MLP - than human issues), but this really is the pony story of the year to me.

Cooolness great find
