I was happy to get a good bait-condition Bubbles from Eigengrau02. The sitting pose is a favorite of mine, so I created this lovely gentlewoman for a local festival I'll be selling my wares at next month.
Her name is Lady Lemonade. She's inspired by pink lemonade, lolita fashion, and pretty imagery of historical ladies in frills having picnics. Y'know, like the "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte" painting. Didn't realize it had such a long name until I looked it up.
Oh! And the little flower seen on her symbol and in the photos is a wild violet. Teas and syrups made from their petals are a natural ph indicator-- the liquid is deep blue, but when exposed to acid such as lemon juice, it turns a striking pink! That's why I like to bring homemade violet syrup and lemonade to small parties and such. It's a great little trick to make a natural pink lemonade.
