wishing everyone who will be going a fun time. it looks like an absolute blast!

Hopefully i'll have the chance to go once i'm old enough.
 
I am definitely planning to come back next year! Had a lot of fun this year!! I don't know if I'll have a vendor table, though. Most of my spare ponies are so common - the people who come to this show already have them all!
 
It was so much fun!!! If fact it was so fun that I overdosed on ponies and ended up taking a little break for a few months afterwards, haha.
But I really enjoyed the 2024 video you made!

I would love to come to it again and if I do I'm definitely driving this time! Hopefully with my pickup truck so I can help with moving stuff.
 
I’d love to apply but I’m not sure what all to put on the form. I’ve been collecting ponies for years and kind of watching the community from the outside, but I’m just now getting started being active within the community myself. Should I wait a year or two before actually applying to go? I’ve been passively aware of this meet for several years but never knew any of the details about it. Sorry if this is a dumb question!

I'm in the same boat here. Long time collector... and community bystander :fizzy:. I'm interested in what to do too

Hi guys! <3 The form is just a means to weed out the kinds of people who tend to make trouble at conventions in general, like people who aren't actual collectors or fans, YouTubers who infiltrate events for nefarious purposes, or people with a history of troublemaking or scamming.

So please don't feel discouraged :) Just fill out the registration form to the best of your ability, and feel free to include any questions or concerns. You can also message me directly at any time.

Oh I see! Thank you for clarifying, I had no idea that people would try to infiltrate/mess up an event like this :sadpony:, weeding out people like that makes sense. I'll check out the form again then!

While we've never had such problems at the MD Pony Meet, we've always taken security and safety very seriously and we take proactive measures to make sure everyone has the best experience possible :) We take note of issues that have happened at other events and larger conventions and tailor our rules and regulations accordingly to prevent such things ahead of time to the best of our ability.

At the end of the day, we want for our members to truly be able to relax and enjoy the event knowing we have always had their best interest at heart. <3
 
@Tsunamishi - You’ll have to let me know if you sign up! I’m making sure to set this weekend aside so I can go :smile:

@MustBeJewel Is the meet held at the Homiday Inn that’s listed as the preferred lodging location? Just trying to figure out where to look at booking. This looks like such a fun time!

Since the meet location is a private venue, we prefer not to directly disclose it, but it is in the 21204 zip code. The Holiday Inn is the hotel that most attendees find to be the most convenient, affordable, and satisfactory. Feel free to send me a PM for further specifics :)

That’s totally understandable! I went ahead and submitted my application to register. I used to have family in that area so I’m pretty familiar with it! I’ll get in touch with you soon about specifics as they come up :) Thanks for all the help, and I’m super excited- growing up I always wanted to go to one of the meets but wasn’t old enough, nor had adult travel capabilities:rofl: The video you shared from last years meet makes it look like such a fun time!!
