The Classic What Are You Listening to?

I'm addicted to these songs at the moment :ponylove:

I'm also listening to a special song between my friend and I. She's my dearest friend and I love her with all my heart. She's only second to my partner in terms of closeness. When we were in highschool she graduated early while I stayed for the whole year. On her final day we skipped class and just walked the halls singing this together. Fast forward two years and the last time I saw her we held each other and cried and I sang this song to her. Sorry for the long story! It's cheesy but it always makes me smile/cry and think of the wonderful times I've had with her.

Ah, I like all those. And I like Elton John's Guess That's Why too. Really, I enjoy most music aside from rap and country. Dunno. Neither really 'do' it for me if that makes any sense.

Here's one I've been enjoying immensely. I love VNV Nation's attention to mood and lyrics. Someone dear to me sent it to me recently, and I just love the mournful quality of the music and the words just touch me.

@Moondream Tom Sawyer is an awesome song. I really like this one from Rush:

I find it so uncanny what you are posting, Simple Minds - one of my favorities, Dont you forget about me and the Breakfast Club..... how awesome was that. I just listened to this one.

You know, this all makes me wanna listen to some Yes.

Cry Little Sister from The Lost Boys

@Slinky Man we have such similar tastes in music! I love Rush. I find their music so relaxing. Simple Minds has a special place in my heart. I honestly think it has a special place in a lot of hearts and I think the Breakfast Club had a lot to do with it :ponylove:

I am current addicted to 5 songs

One of my top ten favorite that came back around I love is number 5

I'm cooking dinner and jamming out to this:

I think this is the catchiest song around :lolpony:

I'm getting in the Halloween spirit a little early

Been watching too many Ghost Adventures episodes

And I love this move the 2nd one not so much.

Here's some oldies, but they're fun! I was four when Summertime came out, so you know cavemen wrote it. Looking at Mungo Jerry frontman Ray Dorest, you may well suspect that he is indeed a cave dweller.

And here's the equally quirky Bonzo Dog band...

Fun trivia, what famous writer inspired the name of Mungo Jerry?
