Thank you to the four people who voted for my funny old hats, the butterfly swarm and the one before it woven from wire to look like straw. Fourth place was where I wanted to be - enough to know I haven't lost my touch but not good enough to win a prize.

And grats to @Titania - I shoulda gone all the way with two birds too!
Thank you! Your bonnets were so creative and lovely, you should be very proud of them. I loved that trim you used around your birdy bonnet and I loved how the other hat's butterflies were fluttering around! Maybe next year you could do a beehive themed bonnet with bees buzzing around?
I almost did one bird on my bonnet but thought two birds in a nest would go well with the whole spring love vibe. They haven't had any time to lay any eggs tho!:winkpony:

Congratulations @Titania ! Queen of the Easter Bonnets! (Or fairies?) Great work everyone.
@strawberrypony32 and @dragonlady I’m in awe of your skill. I can’t see we’ll enough to crochet with fingering weight yarn or smaller anymore. @Cactusflower are all those beautiful flowers just growing in your area?! I love them! It’s funny, E voted for yours @Titania , but not the one that won! 8O
Thank you! I started with the non winning hat and thought it might have been too boring but I'm glad it was loved as well! I could totally see Rarity wearing something like it. fifi

Congratulations, @Titania!! I absolutely adore both of your entries!
I uh, 100% threw away my vote by giving myself a pity vote lol, it was better than seeing a 0 in the end, but if I hadn't done that you'd have had 11 votes. The colors and items you used really nail what I think of when I think of easter.

@my little pony collector I love yours as well! Spring Song is absolutely one of my favorite sweetheart sisters, and I love the colors you chose for her. They're very unique and it works surprisingly well!

Otherwise now I can finally reveal some of the details of my main entry with Bubbles. I was late getting started on mine due to being ill, but I marathoned it and made the hat from scratch. It's made of printer paper, twine, and glue, as well as the ribbon and real flowers. All stuff I already had laying around. I don't usually make crafts so it took a lot of tries to get the paper base the right size and shape, including so that it would bend the right way. I'm really proud of it! It took all day to make, fighting with anxiety and painfully dry hands, but it was worth it. The hat's completely dry now and is hard as a rock, but it's perfectly sized so I can pop it on and off of her head at will, without it going anywhere once it's on.

Congratulations to @Titania !! What a beautiful hat, definitely worthy of the prize!! But then, I think all of them were! :] I voted for @eshrai ’s entry, because I thought the method of making it looked very clever and creative on top of being beautiful! It looks like papercraft, but maybe with vinyl? Great job everyone!!

Yeah my entry the pink hat only took an hour to put together once I decided what I was doing, now MLPCs hat that's a different story! It took 4 straight hour's Of sewing! the idea behind the design's were "cutie mark as a hat!" And I feel like I really pulled through on the purple hat!

Congratulations @Titania!

Also well done to everyone else who submitted, all those hats are amazing.

The photos everybody took are so pretty to look through as well. Not only have you all made amazing hats but you’ve also created great pictures. Well done! :starshine:

My second favourite was the other one with flying butterflies ... @dragonlady - with the perfect pony for it too!
And I was really impressed with the crochet daffodil by @strawberrypony32 - and I liked seeing a G2 strut her stuff all tall and lean.
I can't crochet too well to fabricate a nice hat or dainty flowers, but well enough to know how much work went in to those creations, and all the other crocheted bonnets. Well done!

But really, so much talent! And so much variety. I really enjoyed them all, including the one with real flowers @Glistening Rainlight and the one on the hood of the fabulous old hoopty @ActionHank -- to only vote for one was tricky indeed!

Congratulations @Titania ! You made such a pretty hat :satisfied: I almost used flower bouquet as my model too cause she fits a spring theme so well

Thats amazing!!! I really loved your hat on Bubbles, so precious!!! You did an amazing job, i could tell it was made with twine and thought that was an amazing idea!! :lolpony:

Now that all is revealed I can say more about mine too! I freehanded everything but the Daffodil petals because I needed to add wire in them so they wouldnt flop.(Not sure where to link the video) Everything else I made up over the course of 5 or 6 days? I drew out pictures of the type of bonnets I wanted and just tried my best to make it.
Its a lucky thing I had just bought miniature crochet hooks the week before! Haha:lolpony: I left a small hole in the bunny hat so Wild Flowers earring could show through since it goes so well with the theme. I had so much fun and thank you @Gingerbread for hosting this. <3

Shout out to my mom for going to the park with me for the bonnet photoshoot. She helped hold the cherry tree limb low enough for me to take good pictures. I also took a picture of my ponies at my grandmother's memorial tree, which i wont show since it has her name but it was so special to have the opportunity <3.
Bonus pics of my girls enjoying their hats! I couldnt post them all haha too many. Id love to see everyone elses bonus pics!! :D

I also really enjoyed @dragonlady 's hat too! I voted for hers, the butterflies made me smile.

:minty:Congratulations @Titania!

I love these contests as it's so much fun to make stuff AND see what everyone else came up with and this contest had so many different mediums used! I was very happy to see other crochet entries this time, yay!!

Thank you to all who liked mine, it means a lot:) The flowers I just made but the butterfly pattern is "An Easy Crochet Butterfly Pattern" on Crochetleaf. It is very easy, I plan on make more:)

There are sadly no G2s in this contest haha, the tall and lean ponies present are sweetheart sisters, which are G1. I know they don't look it though! The sweetheart sisters share of lot of similarity to the G2s, but they're much larger and don't have gems in their eyes, among other small differences. Though now that you've mentioned it, if I'd had enough time to use easter colors Dainty Dove would have been an excellent choice of pony. And I'm glad you liked my hat! ^^

Thank you! <3 And no wonder everyone who's into crochet has been going nuts for yours haha, everyone can tell the work you put into it. They're quite cute!

Actually I said I'd add some pictures to add myself, did't I? Here they are~ ^^

I thought the left one looked really cute because she looks a bit disheveled haha. My dad helped me set up the scene, when I was asking for his feedback on the photos he mentioned that she looks like she's been playing and I have to agree! ^^ The other is obviously just a better shot of the hat. You can see the string I used to temporarily attach the flowers with, tying that was a bit tough with just two hands. ouo

And I ultimately went with a horseshoe shape for the paper and pulled it into a ring to create the wide part of the hat, which is how I got the bendy shape without any extra fuss or wrinkles.

Congratulations @Titania and to everyone for the fun and creativity.

@Tak the flowers were fake and just used for the photos. I took a bunch of others with real flowers though. I had better photos, but didn’t want to use them because the mountains would have given me away at least to Skybreeze.

Ohhh, major good luck!
Thanks, the good thing is that the engine seems to be in better shape then the rest of the car and all I need there is new radiator hoses, oil, and to find out what's keeping it from starting, might be the fuel filter. Then I can figure out what's going on with the electrics.
