With everything going on in the world right now I figured we could all use a place to focus on positivity. In tough times I always try to focus on the things I am grateful for, my health, my family, my house, things that are easily taken for granted. It seems like everything I see or hear nowadays is gloomy and scary. This is going to be our POSITIVE place! Only happy thoughts and stories here, no negativity or feeling sorry for yourself. Whatever happy thing you want to share, whatever little thing brightened your day today, made you smile or reminded you to be thankful please feel free to share. We can all use some lighter, happier reading material!

We had a beautiful, new shed built a few weeks ago and finally got around to building some storage shelves in it this past weekend. It is coming along and looking great! When we're done the shed will actually have a divider separating the lawn stuff from the storage side. The storage side is going to have tons of shelving for all my holiday decor (I have alot). The best part is my husband is building the shelves to my height so I'll be able to get to my decor stuff easily! Previously it's been high up in the garage and always required getting on the ladder and having 2 people but now I can decorate for all the holidays whenever I want without having to wait and and percariously climb in hubby's messy, messy garage :)

I will be off my scooter and into a walking boot at the end of the week and hopefully I will know how long until I can be out of that and walking without anything soon.

Although my husband's job wasn't considered a essential business so he has to draw unemployment during shutdown, my part time job is considered essential and my 5 day a week work order is at a essential business warehouse so I get to keep a paycheck through this. I even got a essential employee paper permit to keep in my glove box. I'll probably frame it when this pandemic is over xD

I started making Cornholio TP hoarder ponies that started selling before I even finish them. I've sold 6 so far and people keep pouring in to buy them so I hope these extra sales keep our household afloat.

MY HUSBAND BOUGHT ANIMAL CROSSING NEW HORIZONS ON MARCH 20TH reeeeeeeeeeee
I spend 3-4 hours on it a day and it's pure happiness

My kids are home all the time now and I don't mind
I don't miss keeping up with their school schedules lol

While on my walk around my yard today I checked all my plants, as usual. My crab Apple tree (the apples are smaller than grapes!) is about to bloom. I'll have to take pictures. It has long droopy branches like a willow tree and pretty pink blossoms like a cherry tree. So pretty! It's a baby, so this is exciting for me. We also have verbenam, daphne, heather, daffodils, hyacinth, lilies, forsythia, and vincas all blooming. My spirea was dying when I planted it and now it's huge with gorgeous red and orange leaves. Just and my little dog bouncing through it all, and I can't stop smiling. I love living here!

Oh, and my girl got an "early birthday present" from my mom. Minecraft for the switch. It turns out that I'm terrible at minecraft, but it's lots of fun and laughs anyway.

I planned on posting them in the customs forum in my next update and a couple might end up for sale if I don't get payments on them

I'll just attach some files here
I'm waiting on payments on the yellow haired and the 4-headed TP monster

That g1 unicorn with red and black hair. So perfect.

We got some new fruit trees to plant and our little seeds are starting to sprout. I'm having to watch two of the older trees because the two pony stallions (Studmuffin and Tag-a-long Tulu) ate a lot of their bark off. I hope they can survive it. The new trees are 4 different varieties of figs. I'm hoping to still score persimmon and black walnut trees. We have tons of pecans, so we get an over abundance of them (and I don't even like 'em!)

I have two more foals on the way, so spring should be very exciting here. And the stallions are all getting snipped, so these will be the last babies. Bittersweet, but fairer for my mares.

Work was a doozy today and I'm a stress eater, so of course I came home and made brownies  This pandemic is not helping my diet!
But for now, happiness is my warm, homemade brownies with ice cream! I don't take Pinterest worthy food pics but my state fair ribbons can vouch for me :winkpony:
