(Please be kind to them here)
The head is very easy to pop off and pop on, which makes sense considering the joint.

Regarding the body, the ball joint as much a part of the body as the wings or legs are. There is no way to access the tail from here.
Looking at the bottom of her,

It's a bit hard to see, but it looks like this is where the tail was put in. It is a bit hard to get to, but with a long exacto I suppose it wouldn't be much of a problem.

The head is fairly standard, but the neck plug now completely blocks off any access to the hair, so you would need to cut out the small ring to get in.
Both the body and the head feel like the same plastic as the G4.5 brushables.
I'd love to crack in to her and give her blue hair and a forelock but I'll need to pick up a double first.

I'm glad to hear the head pops off easily. But how aggravating about easy access to the tail. How does Hasbro expect us to customize, rehair, restore, treat things like mold/rust etc. if they do things like this? I wanted to do a custom Potion Nova using the actual hair. :hmph:

Well when all else fails I guess I could try and saw off the ball joint neck.
