I went to Swindon to stay with friends for the weekend...which means SHOPPING! My friend is a serious bargain hunter so i gave her the 'find me a pony mission' and boy did she!

she actually found 2 in a charity shop, i've never found them in a charity shop, we then went to tk maxx and found the ponyville ferris wheel which i'm going to use to display my dollymix ponies and the set of paint your own pony, plus a magnetic book and a board book with a set of figures and a play mat

she also found 2 g3 dollymix ponies in the clearance section of tescos as the sweets had gone out of date.

here is a pic of my haul, plus some baits i got as trades and an awesome mcpony (sparkleworks?)
anyone know who the g3 pony with wings is?

and just for fun, i seem to be starting a bit of a starsong army! she was the first new pony i bought along with sweetie belle, and i'll be adding a halloween starsong to it soon too...i think i bounced when i got dollymix starsong in the clearance:)

oh wow i've never sseen the paint your own pony things-that's so neat. and what an awesome haul too! those mnis are really neat...man i wish i knew where mine got stashed

i've never seen the minis before, they're really cute:) the paint your own ponies are made from plaster of paris and there's 3 in the set. i'm contemplating seeing if i can make a mold of one as i'd like to attempt to do some g1 designs and these have raised hind marks. i figured if i cover//smooth over them and fill between their legs with something that will look like grass i could make a mold...in theory;)

i've not had a go at painting yet, but i'm definitely going to attempt it! starsong needs to be painted! (plus i have no room to keep it mib!) i'm gonna use acrylic paints though, not the poster paints that came with it

i'm gonna see if i can make a mold of one, so i can do other designs. i think i'll need to pack between the legs, but i'm sure i can do it! ooooh i'd love a boy one too! :)
