I just realized just how new I am at this. I am not only new to buying the MLP toys, but new to taking care of them as well! I have a bunch of questions and didnt think it was a good idea to just make one post at a time about them lol!!!
Hope this is not too much!!

1. If theres a mark or scuff right on the cutiemark or eyes, what should I do to remove it?
(I learned that nail polish wont work the hard way... :( )
2. Do air bubbles in the mold of the toy itself lower its value???
3. How much conditioner should I use?
(I used quite a bit on one toy and kept it in, and it made the hair stiff, same with a little bit. I tried one with no conditioner and its not as soft as the others.)
4. How long should curlers/bobby pins be left in the hair to make a curl???
5. Does G3 have any gen specific needs I need to know about???
6. Marks that wont wash off with nail polish remover. What next???
7. Best setup for display? Ideas? Advice???

I will add more questions as needed but, I think thats all for now!!!
Thank you SOOO much for reading!!! :star:<3

1. depends on the mark. I usually wash the whole body down with a magic eraser and that gets rid of most of them. (I heard this ruins "color changing" ponies like the g3 styling starcatcher so be careful!_
2. I have no idea
3. I've never had the problem you're having. Just make sure to squeeze out all the extra, then I like to brush it out after that and then make sure it's washed all out.
4. I say about a day. And if you really want defined curls, use really hot/boiling water on the hair with the curlers in.
5. Maybe tail rust? I haven't had the need to fix any of mine so I don't know much.
6. I'm guessing you mean nail polish remover/acetone? Not sure of those can even be removed then. I don't know much about advanced stain/mark removing
7. That's all on you! I personally love using these because I don't have much room! Or you can make your own with foam board!

Yeah they’re a little pricey! I love the clear look of them but a lot of people just make them themselves! And if you make them yourself you won’t have to worry about getting the wrong size and all that!

With the hair washing, I usually use a soft toothbrush to brush my ponies and when I wash them, I brush the conditioner through the hair with the toothbrush. Same with washing it out, I use the toothbrush. I haven’t had the problem you’ve had before but after I wrap the hair up for a day or so to dry then brush it out (again, toothbrush, I prefer it over pony brushes but that’s me) it’s always pretty soft

Just a little tip :winkpony:
I think @PrismaHeart gave you some pretty good tips there

Also I found out while being here that acetone should really be tried when something really won’t come off, more of a plan B kind of thing. Washing up liquid can be fine and magic erasers truly are magic for ponies. They’re so good
Although I do have a new secondhand pony I’ve recently picked up where no techniques have worked. I’m still learning too.

Having my collection being mainly G3 thanks to childhood ponies, I haven’t came across anything G3 specific yet
