Oh, I see! Tropical Sunshine Luminary has glow in the dark two-tone eyeshadow! LOL.

Rainbow glowing striped TAF symbols. A torch, jellyfish, and bubbles fit the island and beach themes better than a lightbulb....

Middle streak changes from "lemon" (looks white) to hot pink in the sun....

"Divine Shine" G1 Luminary! For those who don't know this symbol is called a "chai," pronounced like "hi," but if you know how to make the guttural consonant then that should be used anywhere a Hebrew word uses the "ch." Google "pronunciation chai" if you're curious. It is a symbol made of two letters meaning "Life."
I am now on a mission to go back to AALLL my Luminaries and make sure they have at least a glow in dark symbol, if not other features.

I love the way Tropical Luminary's hair turned out (just now took it out and styled it). The U.V. part got kinda frizzy, but I actually like that, now it is like real Sunshine pony hair. The G1 Divine Shine is going to have hi-temp nylon, so he looks classy, lol.

Please let me know what you think!

Tropical Luminary is great!

Ooooo!! I lovee the tropical Luminary!! Hes so pretty, the eyeshadow is always my favorite part! :ponylove: The sparkle Luminary looks good too!!

The technology that makes glow in the dark paint is amazing- please note that is *not a blacklight.* I can't believe it just glows in the *light* like that.

It's also my first boil perm, using two pipe cleaners twisted together as a small roller.....he has all the traits of a Tropical and a Sunshine pony, I really need to go swimming next summer!

@strawberrypony32 Eyeshadow is so everything! Ever since that "I Wanna Dance With You" video by Janet Jackson. Those dancers with the eyeshadow and the short black hair convinced me its just for everyone.

Love the colors!! Great job! I really like the grey glitter pony. That glow in the dark can be a Luminary signature trademark.

Totally! Like when I finally commission a piece, or if I take the time to stop making them, trace a Hasbro pic on line less paper, and then color it in, I will add a spiky, zig-zag aura around the pony and fill it in yellow or chartreuse to show a pretty glow. Of course "pretty" is subjective.

Originally Luminary was going to have glow mane and tail, but I was concerned that the color would get boring, as I thought the only available mane/tail would be that very flat light blond color, and the texture isn't silky smooth like most other colors. I'm glad I didn't go that route, as this way the different Luminarys can have different glow features, and now an illustration would have to generalize the trait with a full-body aura.

Nice! I like the glow in the dark usage and even better great job at capturing that in the photos too!

Oh wow, that glow in the dark effect is wild!! Great job, I love that he changes in the sunlight too!:purpleheart:
