Turtle, turtle, wherefore art thou...

For real, though. You guys ever watch the Little Mermaid animated series? There was an episode where Ariel made some new friends and they ended up having to swim away from a seriously p'ed off and terrifying snapping turtle

We have the huge snappers here and they are scary! I keep a shovel in the car so if I see one in the road I can use the shovel to move it to safety, because picking them up can be pretty dangerous!

The last big snapper we moved was about 30 lbs and way far from water, so it was pretty easy to handle. We just shoved it into a large dog carrier by picking it up by the back of the shell and shoving it in super fast. Luckily it was so hot and tired it couldn't put up a fight. We dropped it off at the lake behind us. Our land butts up to 6000 acres of national grasslands and a small rarely used lake. It's really handy to drop sliders and such at.

I have pics of that big bad boy somewhere, I should try to find them...

Here he is! I called him James Wu after an old friend of mine that loves turtles

He looks likes he's smiling in this pic. Guess maybe he knew we were there to help him.

here he is, heading into the lake after transport

I loved that show! It's been so long since I last watched it!
The one episode that sticks in my brain is the one about an evil scientist polluting the ocean and Ariel has to throw "monkey wrench" into he's muck machine!

I loved the show too :satisfied: My favorite episode was when Ariel met another mermaid (I think her name was Gabriela)who was deaf but wanted to sing so they went looking for a magic starfish :)

@Tak I'm sorry that you haven’t been able to find your missing turtle :sadpony:

It's evilbunnyfoofoo's actually @AzaleaArt she's got so many animals she cares for. They're lucky to have her. Thank you, though. <3

Holy Cow @evilbunnyfoofoo That sounds kinda scary and really exciting :D What a big guy or girl! Look at that tail! You guys really are super rescuers :satisfied:

@AzaleaArt yes!! That was the same episode! It was Ariel, Gabriela and her interpreter that were fleeing from that turtle XD I had that tape, so I watched the two episodes (other was super meta with Hans Christian Anderson pulling a Jules Verne/ James Cameron and going deep sea exploring) over and over and over.

Haha was it really the same one? I don’t remember that part!! I just remember the magic starfish part and the song from it- daring to dance. I guess it must be a really memorable episode :D
Lol I’m my house we had 3 Pokémon tapes that we watched over and over and over
And I think I know the other episode you’re talking about, his submarine was broken or something right?

At least I'm 89% positive that it was the same episode XD I don't remember the song, but I remember that seriously impressive starfish. Did she actually get a voice? I feel like she didn't and they put it as "you don't even need one." I know that's like a pretty popular episode on Tumblr at any rate ;)
That's awesome you has so many Pokémon tapes, that's none whole episodes :surprisepony: you lucky duck! Which ones, do you remember?
And yup. Somehow they stopped the leak up long enough for someone or thing to jettison him up to the service...I think. I remember that one a lot less vividly

I think he did a wizard of oz type thing and told her she had a voice all along, she just expressed it with her hands in sign language or something along those lines. So she sang a song that way :)
For the pokemon ones I remember, a Christmas episode where jinx was like santa, one where misty played a mermaid in some sort of show to help her sisters I think? And the one where ash gets bulbasaur from that garden :D I know there were more but I can’t remember what right now lol

Yeah, that sounds exactly like what would have happened ;)
I love all of those episodes.
Jessie and her snowgasports :lolpony: totally what I did too

Off topic, but, I dressed as Jesse for Halloween when I was 16. My friend went as James and his little brother was meowth. My last trick or treating. So much fun. (Yes, I still have their intro memorized.)

:shock::shock:That's the best Halloween group costume I could possibly imagine. Do you have a picture!

Right, foof!! I recently finished a big photo organizing project and was just amazed seeing how the number of pictures increased over the years. When you only got 24-ish pics on a roll you just took one or two pics of most things, now with camera phones people take a million pictures of their dinner LOL How the times have changed!!!!
