Unpopular Pony Opinions

I don't like Equestria Girls the whole ponies to humans thing isn't something I'm interested in, if I wanted to watch something about humans I'd watch something about them, I don't need them in my pony show, and why go from a town to a high school, I hated high school so why would I want to watch something about it.

Also it doesn't help that Equestria Girls is part of the reason I stopped caring about the pony show and related things for several years, I've just recently got back to the point I care about it again.
Basically same, haha :lolpony: :lolpony: :lolpony:

Did they come with only 3 legs?
I think she means ones like these:

My Twilight is the worst at standing. She tips over and/or leaps off my shelf all the time. AppleJack isn't much better, haha.

Here's this for an unpopular opinion: I'm not a fan of customization on any pony that isn't extremely common and/or bottom-of-the-barrel bait.

I love antiquing and I find it really important to restore and preserve things as close to their original state as possible. For me, the most acceptable targets of customization are extremely common releases (Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, etc.) and/or have essentially no chance of being restored.

*Edit to add that I honestly dislike the G1 Repro art style and wish they did something closer to the original illustrations. I love seeing modern G1 merchandise but the art totally takes me out of it.

Some of it is non collectors not being able to properly describe ponies. I had to return a lot due to hair cuts that were deliberately not pictured.

And on this note I saw a lot today where someone was deliberately trying to hide a unicorn pony in the lot on eBay. And in the description it said "5 TLC ponies plus free unicorn". You can see the head of the unicorn in all the pics but the body is being blocked in all pics by all other ponies. Because the tip of the horn is chewed off I'm guessing it is chewed up.

And another thing with lots that I don't like is when sellers just dump the ponies on the floor or in a box and take one or two pictures and describe them just "as is." How are we supposed to know what ponies are in there and their condition?

It's a been a LONG TIME since I posted, but here goes...My gripe is the same as many others.

I hate that Hasbro has decided once again that we need the same Mane 6 repeatedly. Do they not realize that when G3 became all Core 7, all the time is when they burned out the market and had to sh*Tcan that line?

Granted, the G3's were way overproduced to begin with, but they were cute and there was variety in the beginning. I troll auctions, yard sales and fleamarkets and have what seems like a million of G3, yet at times I can still find one that I do not have. I have never been very fond of G4, except Fluttershy. I keep those, the rest go away eventually.

Well, honestly....?

I really, really like pink. I wouldn't mind if tomorrow there were only pink ponies in different shades of pink. With lots of glitters. And cute flashing lights. And really stupid girly names. Call her strawberry cutiehoofs for all I care.

Also I hate ponies with tinsel in their hair because I find it impossible to tame for the full 100%.

Tinsel hair is a bane. Looks great, but after a combing or two it becomes a huge knot. I despise it.

It irritates me when people presume to speak for everyone on how non-influential the old pony shows were on the communities. To this I say, please speak only for yourself, your experiences are not indicative of every single fan. We all experienced MLP in slightly different ways from each other.

Lies! We all know you secretly love tinsel Foof. You shear sparkly pom poms to braid in your hair and prance around the yard like a pretty princess pony. You curse at crows who land on your shoulders and aren't deterred by your sparkly scarecrow disguise. You sneak into neighbors orchards and creep ever closer to the window to scare them poopless! You ARE the Pretty Princess Scarecrow Pony who terrorizes Drury Lane! Someone's probably caught you on camera and are debating if you are real, or a hoax, or a mass hallucination.

Did any MLP Collectors really love the G2 line?
Yes there are those who do. Every generation has its fans. I was a bit stunned when I first discovered them in the G3 era, and put off by their...unusual appearances for a while. I finally got my first one this year and I ended up liking her a lot. I would like to have a few more.

Not really an... unpopular opinion per-say but I haven't seen many people talk about the quality of the eyes on G4.5/Pony Life? G4.5 has grown on me after I got a few for myself but the eyes look badly stamped on and I think that's worse than the cat-like ears and giant heads that get a lot of criticism.

I like most of them. Some have very strange moving necks that are rather like g1 bbe babies, in that it just, personally, gives me the creeps.
So like, what happens if we combine the two?

The G3 Ice Skater Ponies are remarkably pretty and underrated. I like Loop-de-la's delicate, pastel, icy green. And Glitter Glide is gorgeous!

I'm gonna ruffle feathers with this one. It already irritates me that people are calling these ponies, the new Pinkie Pie, Rainbowdash, etc. They're character archetypes that we've seen throughout the series, sure. Patch, Wind Whistler, G3 Pinkie Pie, G3 Minty, Bright Eyes, Truly and so on. But how about we not fall into recent, short-sighted views of everything being a Mane Six knock off, and let them be who they are. Their own characters.
