Hey all,

Anyone familiar with Webkinz? I have someone that wants to trade their Webkinz for my Frilly Frocks plush. I don't know who is rare or ANYTHING about these. This is what she told me she has:

"shiba inu nwt, big sig golden retriever and german shepherd, sig yorkie, sig beaver nwt, sig zebra, sig beagle, both sig tigers"

Thoughts? Advice?

Thanks!

webkinz were actually cute i used to have a bunch of them including a husky (which im also a furdad of). They also had a website where you can bring them to life virtually (it was ADDICTING!!!!!!!).

not sure if they have any that are rare or if any had value though, so im clueless on that one. can try and do research on them and go from there and see if it would be worth the trade.

Im also not sure if the website is still up and active either.

There’s one problem with webkinz. You can only use the online code once. Otherwise, the endangered species line is limited edition and worth most. You can look at sold listings on eBay.

I know the signature golden retriever goes for $50+ If he still has his code but I’m not sure bout the other ones you named.
@firefighterpony2008 the game is still up and running :D I went on in December for their Christmas event, but they switched it from a website to an app you download to your computer cause they couldn’t use flash anymore

My daughter still plays it occasionally.

Oh webkinz was my forte! I have like 20+ of em! (I feel kinda bad cause I haven't visited them online in a hot minute  ) Anyway, no, that's not really a good deal. Unless they have the codes still, they aren't really worth much other than they are cute plushes.

Oh I think I have a Stuffed animal unicorn that has the Webkinz logo... what does it look like so I don't get it wrong?

So I have two thoughts about this, being that I know nothing of Webkinz (I am a Neopets & Subeta girl).

1) I really don’t think, unless you collect Webkinz, that it’s a fair trade at all. Unless you do collect that a lot of things to then resell yourself which you may not get the value of the MLP plush from.

2) If you have social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc) I would use those platforms to sell. FB alone has a lot of MLP groups I know would jump at this plush - you would get what your asking (possibly more).

Overall, I understand the need and desire to get it out of your home, but don’t just let it go for anything. Someone will take her for your asking price they are sought after.

I'm with Skybreeze. I think you should post the plushie on multiple platforms and see what responses you get. A handful of Webkinz just doesn't seem like a fair trade. I know you'll find a buyer with cash in hand if you shake the right tree!

Are there any older Webkinz you need for your collection, Galaxy22586? I have a big ol' box full and they need new homes!

I actually don’t collect Webkinz or know anything about them... I just wasn’t sure if I could resell them for pony money or if the trade would be worth it, ya know?

I'm so tempted to give those webkinz a new home, but alas, my house is at critical mass at the moment.

It actually is the ribbon unicorn and found that it was 50.00 on amazon!
Don’t trust Amazon prices... especially if it doesn’t have an unused code.

I don’t have any Webkinz  I’m totally in the dark about them, but if it was a good deal I would have traded them for more ponies, lol
You’re not missing much. They’re cute and the online game can be fun if you have the time and money to invest in it. They still have some with plastic beans inside. They aren’t really much different from any other plush toys other than the game. Melissa and Doug or gund are better quality in my personal opinion. My girl doesn’t play much online anymore because it’s so time consuming and costly. We like squishmellows. They go on clearance frequently and are so soft.
