Weekend Deflocking

Well with Mother Nature demanding a winter encore this week, I’m not sure my weekend plans will hold so I thought it might be a perfect time for some deflock projects I’ve been neglecting. I need to finish Best Wishes for sure, poor girl has been half finished for months. But which of my others should I do? Do you all feel there are certain ones that shouldn’t be deflocked?

Also, while gathering my SS to take inventory of who I might want to deflock, I noticed my dear Cupcake is missing! So I’ll be searching the house for her as I can’t imagine I would have sold her.
 
Yea these are in GREAT shape...the one I had huge brown stains and mold??? Finish the half done one and sell these and then get u some baits to deflect. Personally i hate the flocking. I think its ugly and unsanitary. But there are a limit of these little guys out there anymore and if u have one that is in good shape they are not easy to come by! ...having said all of that they are yours darling so you do you boo boo! I love seeing the beautiful pony that was hiding underneath.Especially when there flocking is in horrible shape and they look like zombies. I feel like they have been tarred and feathered their whole life and I'm setting them free lol
 
Hm, you two may have a point. Maybe I should sell these ones and buy NSS ones instead... plus it will save me and my poor hands hours of slaving away. Also, with the flocking I feel like you can hardly see their symbols and I prefer to see their original color.
 
I would never deflock a pony with good flocking. These all look pretty good. There are plenty of baity ones you could find for cheap. I’m sure you’d find buyers for these gals.
 
i personally only deflock if they have missing patches bigger than on the edges (ears, toes, mouth) or like glitterglue and such in the fur that is *too* bad. mostly because they won't be coming back with fur and when you remove it it's gone, you know. i don't personally buy a lot of the SS ponies, so i sell off any i get unless they are like really bad and would look better with the fur removed :)

I love revealing their color and symbol! It's like a beautiful transformation! Just not a fan of SS in general. In fact I have a truly and lickety split I need to sell because they are in good shape but I dont collect as. They just came with some others i got.
