Are you a Pony Sniffer? Do you pick only the pinkest of Pinkie pies? Tell me your WEIRD PONY CONFESSION!

My first (of many):

Every time I see Gen 3 Pony Daybreak I start singing Barry Manilow's song Daybreak even though I'm not really that keen on the song. I just can't help it.

What funny little habits and obsessions ya got? We won't judge!

Unless they're really creepy. Then we will. We won't admit it, but we'll totally do it.

I am a total mama bear with my Rarity collection. I also have to brush their hair at least once a week.
I talk to my cuddle pony Little Plastic Moon all the time. I also hold her when I am upset.

I take a plush with me to all my appointments that my Wesley doesn't go to. Pretty much all of them, now. I'm that one that everyone avoids in the waiting room since I'm talking to my plush and petting it.

If they're second hand, especially if they are from Goodwill or some place like that, I get super deep in thought wondering who owned them, and what adventures the pony had before they ended up with me. <3
Sometimes I still take a pony with me in my purse, especially if I'm having/have had a rough start to the morning.

I talk to my ponies. Full on conversations.
I do that, too!

What a great I idea ok ware to start
1. I like to small my ponys I don't know what it is with the small of my little pony plastic but it's so good after I'm done working for the day and I come in to my room and get hit in the face with that wonderful pony smell all my worry goes away lol.

2. I also talk to my ponys I like to tell them how pretty they are and how that I will fix their hair as soon as I can and give them a kiss

3.I will Quote a line from a movie or tv show when I see a pony that sed it

4. wan some one talk about something that Similar to my little pony I have to mention it of course

5.when someone gets the wrong name on a pony I can't just tell then the name I have to tell them the all about that pony like what series it's from or how many times it was released

I come up with really elaborate backgrounds and stories for my ponies. I even used to display them by "family" until I recently reorganized everything (so Ringlet and Peppermint Crunch would be displayed beside their bajillion kids, etc). I guess it's no surprise given that ponylandpress got me into collecting in the first place and I was (and still am) so taken with the Ponyland section of their site <3 <3 <3 I'm trying to do something similar with my website but I don't have all their wonderful sets and miniatures lol.

Also as a comfort thing I headcanon a lot of my ponies as LGBT+ like me. I try to "tone it down" when putting together pony bios for my website but.... I'm literally writing bios for fictional characterizations of a bunch of pieces of plastic so maybe I should just go all out LOL

I have a song related one as well. Everytime I see Yesterdaisy on ebay, the song Yesterday pops up in my head.

Whenever I get a childhood pony, I hug it like a long lost friend after spa time, and let the memories of playing with them wash over me.

I'm 100% not into army ponies, but I have such an affection for Butterscotch, that I have a hard time selling or giving up doubles.

I keep doubles of ponies that have huge colour variations. I have a few Blossoms with very different shades of purple.

I can't walk past my Perfume Puffs without smelling them.

I can't stand seeing flutters without wings. I make quickie pop bottle wings for the ones who are waiting for original wings.

I often keep ponies (or other toys in my purse) Tonight I was at a small get together and found a Gumby in my purse.

I have always believed that my toys come alive at night. I treat all toys as if they are listening to me and I apologize if I knock them over or mess up their hair or something.

Hey that’s sounds like a bonus to me, you get to be comforted by your plush and don’t have to make awkward small talk with strangers there :D

This isn’t exclusively a pony related thing for me, I do it with all toys. But when I’m shopping at a thrift store or goodwill and I find 2 ponys in the shelf together I have to get both, even if I already have one of them. Lol I just don’t like the idea that they might have spent their whole lives together as some kids toy only for me to separate them

I dust, brush, clean, and organize my ponies (and most everything else) at least once a month. Recovery from my neck surgery was harrowing. They had to go three months, because I just couldn’t have my caregiver do it. Only E and I touch the ponies.

though I did give my caregiver’s 4 year old daughter some g1 and g3. Couldn’t pass up a chance for a new collector! Now she gets lots from the goodwill outlet.

Ok so don't hate mini me but when I was about 7 years old I got it into my autistic head that I needed to see what the magnet in rainbow flash and wisteria looked like so I chewed there feet open with my teeth like a dog!
even now I'm still ashamed of what I did when I was 7!
I was also a pen to pony child. I'm so ashamed!
:cry: :cry: :cry: :cry::cry::cry::cry:

Now you know my darkest pony secrets

Me too! I think the belief for me started with just coming alive at night but now I can’t help but believe they’re always alive, constantly. They have thoughts and feelings too just like everyone. I get very upset with toys being in the loft or thrown away.

It’s okay, I too once was... a pony chewer. I don’t know why but I liked to chew a lot of things. This is why a few of mine haven’t got magnets in their hooves, because I chewed them out. I tried to make a story around it when I realised sometimes it can go back in like they had to earn their magnets but they just went missing. I’ve considered trying to make socks for the badly chewed good ones like my Blossomforth.
Also, a Ponyville of mine hadn’t got her tail from me chewing. It was supposed to be fixed but now it’s missing so I hope one day to remake one.
The antenna of all my breezies have popped out and/or got chewed out and now they’re antenna-less. One day I want to use my 3D pen to draw them new ones

My sister cut a slit in my Barbie’s mouth then fed her saltines all crumbled and water, then made her vomit. She also cut off all her hair and ended up with cutting out her eyes.... my parents believed her story of it being my idea, and I always did what she said to avoid punishment. Deserved or not.

I have cut a slit in one pony's mouth, just because I wanted one to be able to hold things with her mouth like they do in fiction. Please don't hate me.. I have also detached the heads on a couple G1s; once it was out of necessity (tailless Applejack), once it was to see how a moving head would look.

Omg! I do that, too! :lolpony: I thought I was the only one!

Haha :satisfied: Nope, not the only one! I just imagine they’ve had all these cool adventures together and would be sadly watching as I walked away and left one behind ^^; so I can’t do it! My dad used to make fun of me for it when I was little lol
(actually he probably still would if he was around while I was shopping)
