my sister calls to ask my mom something, and I find out she's at a flea market. I yell from the background "ponies!" but don't really expect anything..
half an hour later, she calls back. (this is kinda long, but it's better than he-said-she-said)
"there's one that looks new, I think it's new, I don't know.. it's peach with pink hair and fireworks on it's butt"
"it isn't peach, it's orange. that's Sparkleworks."
"whatever, it says 3 for $5 and there's two more. next is white with a jeans pocket on it's butt.. "
"and blue hair. Denim Blue."
"whatever. last one is yellow with bees and crap.. "
"Bumblesweet."
"So should I get those three?"
"is the orange one facing left or right?"
"left, when she's in front of me"
"okay, yes"
So I'm getting those three.. then she adds
"and there's one with a clear sparkly body.. "
"sparkles?!"
"yes, and purple hair"
"does it say Hasbro '83 Made in Hong Kong?"
"where?"
"on the feet. and purple hair."
"yeah, it does.. how the hell did you know that?"
"it's Napper. how much?"
"$6"
".. no."
"next is a little purple one with a plastic tail and real hair, $1.50"
"Happy Meal Daisy Jo, too much"
"okay, next one is a tiny pink one and says "ABC"
"how much?"
"$6"
"grrr.. okay"
"last one is a flutter pony, it's yellow"
"green or pink hair?"
"pink.. the flutter thing still works"
"are there tabs in the holes still or are they empty?"
"there's tabs"
"how much?"
"$3"
"sold"
"you're going to pay me back, right"
"maybe"

so.. proud owner of Noodles, Rosedust (with pink hair, though I don't know how dark), Denim Blue, Sparkleworks I, and Bumblesweet. pretty good, for just sitting here doing nothing.. lol.
**edit to add, she just called back with: Windy, Applejack, Baby Tippy Toes, Starcatcher and a huge stack of McD's (getting Starcatcher and Tippy Toes)

My mom's taller than I am, so when we go to Toys R Us I have her search the higher shelves.
