So, today I thought I would prep a bunch of ponies for some customs I’ve been “working” on and wanting to work on for some time now. I thought I would share with you all some of the things we don’t see often.

To start, disassembled G4 Fashion sized Seaponies (the ones with the beautiful sparkle eyes).

The eyes were a lot easier to get out of the ponies than I thought they’d be. Getting the backers off of Rainbow’s eyes not so easy. The glitter was easy enough to get off, it was literally like glitter mixed with school glue so it peeled off fairly easy much to my relief.

New eye colour (not completely dry yet so still a little dull):

Then a newborn baby brother I am working on:

I also have about six other ponies who are having a soak in Oxiclean for the night. And three partial projects I had started and never finished.

Ha ha, thank you. I’ve been a real bad art block so all production has stopped at basic white base coasts on everything. :(

The colors on the sea pony mane are so so gorgeous, great job on the body paint as well!
 
Tiny update. I did base coats on a lot of ponies and then started painting everything today. Some are still awaiting paint but got first batches colours on and first layer of topcoat today.

I also got the basis down for a commission for my dear friend @Sassarazzmadazzles of our good friend Po-Nay.

(I still haven’t painted baby boy yet because I can’t decide on a base colour for him. :sweat: )

Here’s a pearlized Lofty I’ve done as a commission:

My WIP Po, so many more layers of paint to go to get things all smooth again. I also wish to post a PSA for anyone else thinking of trying to custom these eyes. Put the eyes back in BEFORE painting. Thank you.

Last but not least, I’ve done repairs on some of my original Flutterpony wings. I decided to use tabs to make them a tiny bit longer so the wings can “flap” a bit more freely. First photo is the pieces of Flutter wings, second is them put back together with UV Resin and last is on two of my girls.

That pearly finish looks great!! And the flutter wing project is amazing. You did great getting those back together. I have been toying with how to get mine back into action. I love the fact that they can actually flutter/flap!!
 
I’ve been a busy bee lately trying to clear out some of my long awaited customs projects I’ve had on the go for some time.

The custom sea pony Po is complete but I won’t be posting photos of her until @Sassarazzmadazzles get her in her hands. ;)

My Wave Runner has finally been repaired (her wing was almost torn off) and has been glittered and rooted with a custom blend of hair from Shimmerlocks. Now her hair will set for a few days until her big day.

And this deflocked, glittered and pearlized Lofty I’ve had for some time now. She’s finished and waiting to be sent back home.

Next on my roster is my very stubborn Hippity Hop. That pony will be deflocked even if it sends me to my grave. :poop: (Also to photograph and post 100’s of ponies I have for sale… procrastination is real for me these days.)
 
Which paint brand do you use for the pearl effect? :O

Sorry my friend, I forgot to update you!! Here ya go. Her tinsel is now very unruly but she’s still beautiful and I love her.
