What Conventions Do You Attend?

Do you partake in other conventions not centered specifically around MLP? Other comic-cons, horror-cons, anything really? Ones you want to attend or ones that you make a yearly pilgrimage to? Share them! Who knows, maybe some of us have been walking right by each other for years.

My husband and I frequent several conventions, all usually based around comic books though a few are based around the Star Wars fandom.

Steel City Comic Con-- Out of Pittsburg, we've only just started going to this one and plan to go during their spring shows (they do a quarterly show). I love this one because the center is nestled right in the middle of a mall, so when I have finally had enough of people bumping into me I can escape into the bookstore right across the parking lot!

TriCon-- Out of Huntington, WV. Another comic-based show that has so far featured a few writers and artists from the MLP:FiM comic series. There were also various vendors there this year selling custom pony-themed art pieces and apparel!

Jedi Con-- Out of Sistersville WV. It's small and not advertised very well, but that just means there are always great deals. Always amazed to see what the costuming groups do each year.

Classic Plastic Toy and Comic Expo-- Out of Parkersburg WV. This one my husband actually helps run! He and our toy store owner friend just started this show and had a great first year turn-out. The next one is already in the works--it's taking place in our local art gallery with an artist who specializes in scrap metal painting. There may also be perks for artists who join up, but I haven't heard that confirmed yet so I will just shush.

So, where else do you go to get your convention fixes?

I actually don't have any cons to attend, but planning to go to SDCC and NND. Others, too far/cost a lot :B

I'm a cheap nerd :B

I went to an Anime con in Vancouver for my sister and current BF at the time (long time ex now) because they really wanted me to come but honestly I was super bored. I'd go to a Pony con or a Star Trek con if I could afford it.

My partner and I attend a lot of anime and furry cons. We work the artist alleys selling bead crafts. We even got to work Anthro Con which is the largest furry con in the world. We'd love to work a comic con someday but haven't found any close. I'd totally love to go to a pony con if one is ever nearby :ponylove:

I live in san diego and I never go to comic con, despite being all about nerdy stuff. I see all the people from out of state come here for comic con and it really gets on my nerves. Every year i try to get tickets and something happens. This year I'm gonna get one if I have to steal one, mark my words! *snarl, snarl*

I've never been to one. Though we're only a couple of hours away I think from San Diegos comiccon. My boyfriend wants to go one day. And I know that there are expos and conventions down in L.A sometimes. Maybe one day. I'd love to go to a ponycon and i'd be over the moon to go to breyerfest but that'll never happen

I used to go to cons all the time for work: comic, sci fi (mainly Star Trek), horror and anime. Been awhile since I did one. Last several were Free Comic Day affairs helping a friend pimp his new book. I sold more crap than he did. It was haha for me, not so much for him!

A few annual (and countless not formal LOL) Russian TLK-fans get-togethers in early 2000, a few grown from them RusFurrences later (by force of habit mostly), Poland My Little Konwent this year... I' wanna wanna to participate in ponies cons, but alas have no equally eager friends here, and going alone is not so much fun :(

Also from this side of Earth it seems that on America continent bronycons are carried every day: meetup map :)
