What Country do you live in and where have you travelled to?

I wonder why nobody wants to go to South Africa? o_O

Oh wait, now I remember. It's the crime.

Well, *I* want to go there someday, it looks like a stunningly beautiful place, but probably never gonna happen at this point ( i am OLD lol).

we're in the USA. as a kid, spent some summer days in Canada not trrribly far from the US border in Ontario; lived for a year and a half in Germany (long before reunificiation) and during that time managed to get to Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Austria, England and the Highlands of Scotland. Here in the states have been to most states on the east coast, Wyoming, Oklahoma and Alabama as well as where the Fair has taken us. I so badly want to see Hawaii and Alaska, and the southwest and Pacific Northwest and California and all the other states, as well as do one of those train treks across Canada. And for some reason, probably from being a fan of Due South, I really really want to see Tuktoyuktuk. :-D really, there are sooooo many other places I want to see (and return to as well!) that I can't list them all, and therefore I demand a second lifetime from Whomever Makes that Decision. The MLP Fairs have really made me get the traveling bug back after a 2o year hiatus of sorts (a weekend down the jersey shore doesn't really count as "travel" lol) so we have been combining our trips to the fair with ten ++ day road trips.

And....! am now blissfully planning 2015's Fair road trip (thank you @SweetTune and staff for such early notice this year!). We're going to do a Great Lakes circuit this year, mostly around Lake Michgan, but what my aim is, is to see Lake Superior and Lake Huron. They seem so mysterious to me.

I'm from the US, but moved here to Sweden about a year-and-a-half ago. Growing up I was a Military Brat, so we moved ALOT and lived all over the US. We lived in Turkey briefly when I was little as well. Other than that, I visited Paris once on a long layover. That's it! ^-^ We don't have money to travel now, but one day I'd like to since I am so close to the rest of Europe here.

oh I love that we have so many members from all over the world! So cool...

So I am from a military family as well, and I also served in the military myself so that's why and how I've done so much traveling.

Born in PA, USA --- I've been to almost every state... even the really boring ones. :p (during changes of duty stations)

I've lived in Maryland, USA since 1996 (I left for about 3 years then came back)

I've also lived in Germany (amazing) and I have visited Austria, Italy,

The Netherlands, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Kyrgyzstan, and Afghanistan.

oopps forgot Canada. Sorry :p and the Bahamas.... but not Mexico, been on the boarder though...

I'm from the United States too. I've been to Canada (Quebec, New Brunswick, and PEI), the Bahamas, Germany, and Austria. Someday I'd love to go to the British Isles, Italy, France, and any (or all) of the Scandinavian countries. I also want to see more of Canada.

Although I've had my passport stamped a few times, I've never been farther west in the US than Pennsylvania, but someday I'd like to go west. I also want to see Alaska and Hawaii. As of October 1st, I would like to go to Chicago for a certain event. We'll see if that works out ;)

I live in Australia, and I've travelled a little bit. I'd love to travel more, though!

Here are the places I've visited (with cities/states specified because of course specific cities/states can't really represent a whole country!)

Italy - Rome, Frosinone and Sardinia, visiting my father's extended family. I'd love to go back and explore more of Rome, and maybe visit Venice as well.
US - Florida, visiting my maternal grandfather. I'd love to revisit the US, but I'd have a hard time choosing exactly where to visit! Florida has a lot of lovely attractions, but I normally prefer less 'touristy' travelling.
Holland - Amsterdam and the Hague, visiting ex-pat friends with my boyfriend. Love love love the Netherlands (and miss it even more now that I've taken up cycling seriously - they have bike lanes and bike racks everywhere). Would definitely love to revisit someday.
England - London, on a one-week trip with aforementioned ex-pat friends and my boyfriend. Would love to visit London again (I still have like 3/4s of the London Museum alone to explore!), and would love to visit some other areas of England as well.
Denmark - Copenhagen, on a shorter three-day trip with my boyfriend. We only had time to visit Tivoli Gardens and to wander around the city looking at all the amazing statues. I'd still definitely love to go back - the city has so much character! It was a nice surprise for us to discover that there was an Elephant Parade art exhibit installed in the city while we were there, so we spent a good portion of our days wandering the streets trying to find them all for photo ops :D

Countries I'd like to visit that I haven't yet include Sweden, Norway, Russia, France, and lots more!

I live in the States but have lived in Australia before. My husband is from Down Under. I've managed to Americanize him pretty well though - I think the abundance of dollar menus, free drink refills, and gourmet ice cream helped.

is there Canaries in the Canary Islands?

Do mean the bird? (pardon my english, it is not my native language). To be honest I do not remeber that trip very well :( I was young, about 5 year old, so details are hazy :/. But there was lot of stray cats and I wanted take them all home :D and I was mad that I couldn't swim in the ocean because the waves were too big..
