What else do you collect?

ooh, i collect quite a bit of LPS, Neopets merch, and squishmallows too! i don't really have many pictures though :tongue:besides these:

All sorts of motley things! G2 Littlest Pet Shop are the only non-pony things I actively seek out; everything else just kind of... found it's way into my life, I guess. I'll add some photos later.

Recurring themes are:

- Ceramic turkeys

- Chicken decor

- A few Breyers

- Polished rocks

- Owl decor

- Jewelry (I make it, too!)

- Plush (although most of these are from my childhood / teen years)

- Video games

- Disney / Studio Ghibli DVDs

- Does horse tack count? :lolpony:

...Probably my favorite, though, is my guitars. :ponylove: I have my childhood acoustic, Mom's dreadnought, and recently bought myself an HSS Charvel superstrat for my 24th birthday. I'd love to have an SSS Stratocaster, HH Gibson Les Paul, and an electric bass someday as well, but those are... in the future, haha.

ETA: Also, I still have my childhood dinosaurs and you will have to pry those out of my cold dead hands.

Love them!! I tried to get into collecting LPS but the numbers confuse me and I always lose them :cry:

Ooh yes guitars! They are so beautiful. I play a bit but hope to get back to learning after the holidays. I’m just too busy right now with getting ready to reopen My Etsy shop and such.

I have quite a few collections in the loft but due to space, I’ve had to stop collecting. I’ll name some here
I have two big boxes of Ty Beanies. I don’t know how many I have of those. I told myself this year I need to stop collecting them but I will at least finish off the Zodiac collection that I’ve always loved. I don’t like Beanie Boos or any of the recent lines.
I also have 20+ Build-A-Bears up in the loft. I have my favourites but they’re just too big to have all together now.
I have a nice collection of manga but I’m starting to put some in storage because again, space, and I’m only going to get the ones I know I can finish collecting and already like. These days, it’s hard to keep up with things I loved so much before… I still like though

Currently, I seek out ponies and pin badges. I shouldn’t, there’s not much space and I don’t have much money, but I do. Charity shops only. It’s like a treasure hunt!

One of my more stranger collections is a scrapbook of firework wrappers I have. They’re interesting and the names are cool. When tidying up fireworks after a display (usually just on Guy Fawkes Night that’s tomorrow), I carefully remove the wrappers and clean them up and stick them in

Ironically, fireworks can sometimes make me feel quite nervous with their loud noises

I've never seen someone collect fireworks packaging but I LOVE IT.

I collect some BAB too and my mother has 2 bins full of beanie babies lol

I’ve never heard of anyone else collecting fireworks either. I started doing it I think in 2017? Or 2018? I’m not sure, somewhere around then, because I noticed how some of them seem really cool. Originally took them to make collages with but they were too nice or cool to cut up so instead I made a scrapbook with them. I also had no ideas for most of them either for collages

Genius honestly lol. I love the artwork on so many of them but never would've thought to save them!

I also have not ever seen a Madagascar collection. All of you are really surprising me with your collections haha

Spyro is what began my love of dragons I think and also why I started drawing them. I have absolutely no Spyro merch, only the PS1 and 2 game.
I have a few Marina Sands Bay Dragons. I had never heard of MBS Dragons until I found four in a charity shop. I’ll share a picture of them tomorrow

I forgot to mention one of my favourite ongoing collections also, my cinema ticket scrapbook. I love going to the cinema and I started saving tickets in 2012 unintentionally at first. By 2017 or 2018, I decided to gather them up and stick them in a spare notebook I had to make a scrapbook. To top it all off, I managed to remember every other film I seen in cinemas starting with 2002 and wrote them all in the back and front covers of the book

Spyro is one of my first games I ever played, so he holds a special place in my heart. I absolutely love Madagascar, but finding good merch is difficult. A few dolls I have are customs because I couldn’t find good plush of the characters.

Same here. My very first game and start of my love for dragons. Also got me into drawing them too. Saving your movie tickets sounds nice. Cool way to look back to see all the movies you’ve seen over the years.

Here are the dragons I mentioned. As this is a pony place, what better way to show the sizes of them by including ponies?

Each dragon represents something different. Puzzlemint has Wealth on her back and Indulgence next to her. My custom pony Lucky Lily has Beauty and Pinkie Pie has Longevity. It’s kind of hard to find information about these. All I know is that they were in blind bag boxes and released as the 2019 versions of the Singapore Marina Bay Sands Lucky Collection. There are also recoloured ones for other years. I think there are 9 or 10 in total and the others being Happiness, Luck, Wisdom, Harmony and Health.
Happiness does look cute

Also, did anyone ever collect My Blue Nose Friends? I have a box full and Legend the unicorn was always my favourite

I collect a lot of other things but at the moment I'm completely obsessed with rare obscure variants of Digimon trading cards. They have been licensed by so many different card makers in different countries and it's fun to see how different they look next to one another. Lately I've been hunting for cards from Brazil but it's very difficult because most Brazil shopping sites won't ship to the US, so I need to start looking for a local that can help me out.
