Currently reading Grave Peril of the Dresden series. It’s been really good!

I recently read One-Eyed Cat by Paula Fox - it was beautifully written, though left me feeling a little empty inside. I don't think I'll be re-reading it.

Others I'm currently into are:

- Alexander Dumas' The Three Musketeers.

- Eldest
by Christopher Paolini. The first book was one of my favorites as a kid, but I never read past Brisingr - I moved, forgot about the series and didn't pick it up again until recently. They're fairly quick reads, so I'll finish them and see if they're worth keeping on my shelf.

Oh, this is one of my favourite topics. I'm currently re-reading Mindhunter by John Douglas who was the first FBI criminal profiler. I have Helter Skelter up next. I enjoy reading about serial killers. Now that I'm finally pursuing my dream of working in Law Enforcement, it seems appropriate.

Mostly I read Young Adult Fiction though. What genre do you all like to read?

I've been reading through the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett. Currently on The Fifth Elephant.

The magicians, the Chicagoland vampires, grim lovelies, ash princess, the girl of fire and thorns for series that i can think of, plus many singular novels. Uprooted was excellent. Plus I re-read any Newberry award winner my girl is reading.

The Good Neighbor: The Life and Works of Fred Rogers

Not my usual genre but who doesn't like Mr. Rogers. I got it last Christmas and decided I better get to it before the movie comes out.

The mummy

Heavens Official Blessing
Author: Mò Xiāng Tóngxiù (墨香铜臭)

Summary:

For you, I’ll become invincible!

“Have you heard? The rubbish Heaven Official is having an affair with the ghost realm’s number one bigshot!”

Translator’s Summary:

Eight hundred years ago, Xie Lian was the Crown Prince of the Xian Le kingdom; one who was beloved by his citizens and the darling of the world. Unsurprisingly, he ascended to the Heavens at a very young age. Now, eight hundred years later, Xie Lian ascends to the Heavens for the third time as the laughing stock of all three realms. On his first task as a god, he meets a mysterious demon who rules the ghosts and terrifies the Heavens……yet unbeknownst to Xie Lian, this demon king has been paying attention to him for a very, very long time.

I keep starting books that I have read previously but do not finish them... I don't really have time to read since having my baby which makes me sad. I used to read in the tub and before bed. Now, I barely relax in the tub even if I get to take a bath because my mind is just full of everything I need to do and I go to bed and pass out from exhaustion lol. I have restarted the Riley Jensen series, Cat and Bones series, and Swiss Family Robinson without continuing them. Do children's books like the Berenstain Bears and Little Golden Books count, or board books? :lolpony:

The mummy by ann rice

The haunting of the sunshine girl

Time Out of Mind by John R. Maxim. It’s a very interesting sci-fi/time travel/mystery story. Plus I love mind-trippy things anyway XD

Some of the best books I find are things in used book stores or things on clearance :p Fool’s War was also like that.

Raptor red

The Griffin mage trilogy.

At Graves End by Jeaniene Frost again. It s book 3 or 4 of the Night Huntress series (Cat and Bones). I am rereading the Night Huntress World books because I got sucked back into them with the author rewriting the first book from the guy's(Bones) point of view rather than the woman's on her blog. If you are interested in supernatural stuff like witches, werewolves, vampires, zombies, it is an awesome series.
