So what kind of car do you own? It doesn't have to run it just has to be one you own. I know at least some of you should have a car or two, so tell us what it is it doesn't even have to be exciting.

I will start with the ones I have.
A 1985 Chrysler Fifth Avenue
My dad's 1973 Buick Electra 225 which is my when I have a lot of money project car.

Hopefully I am not the only one who cares about cars.

I have a 2008 Suzuki Swift+, love it to pieces. Its very realiable and good on gas, a cute little zippy city car.

2011 Subaru Legacy. I'm a Subaru girl for life. Can't beat that all wheel drive in the winter! I've name this one the Grey Ghost, but I named my previous Subaru's after TMNT characters. The first car I had was a butternut yellow '77 Pontiac Lemans. I loved that old tank. It even made an appearance in a Larry the Cable Guy movie! But she has since been sold and retired to dirt track racing and demolition derby.

1993 Ford Taurus.

I've had it since 2001, it was purchased used.

I've come to realize how responsible of a person I am, for keeping it alive and running for this long~

It's been rear-ended, and I have a lovely medium dark blue trunk that mildly clashes with the main neutral green body color of the car, however, a semitruck took off a side-view mirror and in the wrecking yard I happened to find a new side view mirror that matches the trunk perfectly.

So she has some loverly mis-matched matching parts~

GOTTA LOVE MY ORDERLY CHAOS~

2012 Chrysler 200. But I bet Hankford knew that maybe. :D

I am terrified to drive it anywhere though, so it doesn't little good except for feed hauling. Stupid brain and its feels.

A blue Honda Accord (can't remember the year off the top of my head, but it's around ten years old, give or take a year or two).

I never learned to drive, so I don't have a car. A few years ago my mom's '98 Volkswagen Golf packed up, it's been sitting in the garage ever since because nobody wants to help us fix it. Now we get our groceries delivered and we get a taxi or a lift from my boyfriend when we need to go to the doctor or something. I hope to get my license next year or so and buy a scooter.

We have a 2010 Ford Focus and a 2010 Ford Edge. The Focus is my first ever brand new car, but we bought the Edge off my husband's parents last year.

Not my own car but I drive my grandmas car. (she won't need it ;D). Honda civic from 1995... It doesn't have ABS breaks or power streeing (the steering wheel is so so freaking rigid. I get my work out for arms everyday :D) or air bags.. Not very safe car if accident happens.. but on the bright side it only has about 98 ton km driven, that is pretty low for that old car!
In Finland cars are so expensive that I need to save a lot of money if I wanted to get a brand new one..... -.-

New cars aren't all they're cracked up to be anyway, h1m3. My partner got 2015 Chrysler 200C (she loves the 200 series, that's how I got her hand me down car! lol!) 3 months ago and it's already having transmission troubles! Ugh. Brand new and it is a big pain in the bootie. So much for dependability.

I know that new cars have their problem -.- especially if they are very hightec with computers etc.. But what would I give to have at least electrical windows or air conditioning :3
In Finland little bit less newer car like from 2005 and up are still expensive -.- because all the taxes that we have to pay in here -.- and it will just go higher and higher .. Fortunately my gradma lets me drive her car so I can go to from place A to place B ;D

A black 2005 Honda Jazz, but I think they're called Honda Fit in the USA? So weird, Jazz is obviously so much catchier ;) I know it's not exciting but I looooooove my baby girl.

Follow-up question: does your car have a name? My girl's called Eva.

We call my car Pewter. She's a pretty gal.

Way back in the day my husband and I had an old '69 Chevy Nova. We called it The Bomb because we never knew when it was going to blow up.

Ma you forgot that we called my dad's 1973 Buick Bubba. I just remembered that.

Jeep girl here! We have a 2002 Grand Cherokee and 2001 Wrangler and a 74 MGB my hubs rebuilt. Love Jeeps, very reliable and usually easy to repair when needed. I don't know about the newer ones though, parts on the older models haven't changed in years so are often inexpensive.

Your dad and I named all our cars. We were young and poor so we bought junkers and Steve nursed them along till they croaked. Let's see... we had The Hearse (a groovy 50's station wagon. One day I will own a real hearse, I hope!), The Bomb, Bubba (the '73), Roller Baby (a beat up Ford 80s work truck that someone painted with a roller. They gave Steve $100 to haul it away and he fixed it and we used it for years)... I know there was one more...

Ah! The Dump Truck! It was a beat up old pick 'em up truck from the 70s. I don't even remember what company made it, but we called it Dump Truck because it would occasionally dump us on the roadside. Everyday was an adventure with Dump Truck!

My Honda doesn't have a name, but my mother drives a dark blue Ford Flex we all call the TARDIS. :)
When I was about three, my parents bought a Volkswagen Eurovan which I promptly dubbed Vannie. It was rather sad when they sold that car, even though I was fifteen at the time. One thing I particularly missed (and still miss, really) about the van was the camaraderie that Eurovan owners seem to share; every time we passed another Eurovan, we always waved to the people in the other car, and they waved to us. I haven't noticed that with any other car.
