OOooooooooooo!!!!

*stomps her feet impatiently*

I have been waiting for a MIB G3 Snowflake to arrive from Sweden (to UK) which was sent on 30th October. Does anyone know how long it should take? I must admit I am beginning to worry. I paid $50 for this girl and it was a birthday prezzie to myself and I will be sooooo upset if shes vanished.

I just had a parcel arrive from Japan in 4 days!!! so what gives??

I don't know about sweden to here, but i've got a parcel that have sent to germany thats taking a while, and im worried cos its got three taf babies in it :(

I reckon its the pre-christmas rush, especially when you look at those leaflets they give out telling you the last dates to send before christmas and stuff.

I'm waiting on a parcel from Sweden from around then as well! (it could be one of the ones waiting for me). Perhaps customs are just being a pain at the moment or something.

Shipping from Sweden to the UK should not take more than a week. Usually less than that, maybe 4-5 days.

Did you buy it from someone trustworthy? A lot of people (myself included) seem to have trouble with late/dissapeared packages lately.. I hope it will show up eventually!

Yes I did Rosse, she has very good feedback at the arena.

Thanks for that girls at least I know Im not the only one in pain waiting for a parcel. How much longer should I give it do you think before I accept that she has vanished into oblivion?

LadyGuinevere, let me know if yours turns up it will be a good guide

re

i agree with rosse. I bought several ponies from collectors in sweden and for them to ship to NY usually takes only 2 to 3 days airmail. Since UK is so close to Sweden I would assume the shipping parcel will take only a few weeks. I hope your pony shows up soon and keep us posted.

I am..

I am also thinking that things are taking longer because of the holidays coming. I ordered something from a state that usually only take 2-3 days to get to me and it took a week and 1/2. I am also waiting on 2 more packages that would normally arrived by now. I am in the US though.

Yeah, things seem to be moving a bit slowly lately. My hubby (he's a mail-handler for USPS) says that Flats are getting hammered, so things are picking up (well, slowing down in some ways, lol). I just sent 4 packages overseas today (2 were to Sweden) - I hope they don't take forever. o_O

Hi :)

Thought i'd let you guys know what my PO said to me today, i was asking about a parcel sent to Germany thats sauntering its was over.

They said customs is being tough at the moment due to the amount of stuff coming through...

They also said that as i had sent recorded delivery, that would slow it down even more as the parcel is kept under lock and key so could take up to a week longer than some parcels.

erm... recorded delivery, yeah, apparntly, its the German Postal services discretion whether or not to use the tracking number. They said it would still require a signature, but that the number may not be used. (this has also been said to me by some USA sellers with items sent certified, why do some post services not use foreign tracking numbers, beauracracy?)

They even said some parcels are being sent surface to cut down on airmail :| and that it cvan end up quickeer as less people choose that option... i wasn't buying that much.

That's always like that and it's the same for everywhere. Sometimes they do get used, there's just no guarantee.

Usually, my post from Sweden (and other places in Europe) takes 3 days, but all my parcels seem to be delayed at the moment, even the internal ones. And Rosse told me that there is no option for surface in Sweden, so that's not an issue at least.

I do have FIVE parcels waiting for me at the caller's office, so hopefully both my Sweden parcels and both my Germany parcels are in there! (one of the Germany ones already got sent back to the seller once!)

Well Im fuzzled I really dont know what to do. I sent a package to France last month and it took 14 days airmail. Its now been 17 days since this package was sent from Sweden, but the one from Japan took 4 days.

What happens if she is lost?? I have been so lucky and never had a parcel go missing yet so advice on how to proceed with this one might be needed

Its hard to know i guess, if the item really ewas sent, but is lost. I mean the seller has posted it so its pretty unfair to do a paypal claim, (if she has good refs etc) as whilst you are out money, she will also be out of the worth of that pony...

I sent something TO Sweden on a saturday and it arrived the following tuesday...

And i'm further away fromt he UK than Sweden is and i sent stuff to the UK and it always arrives in a week.

keep in mind as of tomorrow it will be 15 business days, and airmail does say it can take up to 15 business days. So don't panic.

ther eis also the posibility that since so many people are waiting on packages, that a shipment could have been sent surface instead of air by accident.

Or another less usefull option is that the seller lied to you and sent it last week, as bad as that sounds, i've had it happen to me on more than one occasion " oh yeah i sent it today October 30th" you get the parcle mid to late november and low and behold it was sent November 8th.

Just remember when you do receive the package to look at the day it was sent, and how it was sent, if it was sent ont he 30th Via airmail, it is not the sellers fault. if not, then that's another story.

It's a bit of a comfort that I'm not the only one waiting for a delayed package from Sweden.. mine was shipped September 30th, but has yet to surface. The person I bought from has excellent feedback, so I'm not so much worried about that as much as the post in general.

*keeps fingers crossed* Come to meee, my italian ponies! I wants you!

But Rosse tells me that Sweden doesn't have an option for surface mail *wibbles*

I paid for mine on 28th October. I think she was intending to ship the next day. Usually post from Sweden gets here in three days!

re

to sweden from uk normally takes less than a week.

It takes 3 to 5 weeks for parcel post to Europe, from what I was told by the USPS a couple weeks ago. :X

Shes still not here yet *sighs, why does a parcel from Sweden take this long?? After all Japan is much further away and my parcel from Japan took 4 days. Its ridiculous really. I get parcels from the US in 5 days usually. The EU postal service SUCKS royally
