Nirvana Why is my pony squishy? (G3)

While cleaning up this G3 strawberry swirl I noticed that she can be squeezed easily and has lumps/deformaties on her underbelly. I checked my childhood Strawberry swirl and she's quite sturdy like my other ponies and has no lumps. Is this a manufactures defect or can the pony vinyl go bad somehow? or are some ponies just squishier than others lol?

I would hazard a guess that the plastic has broken down some. Or it’s been heavily cleaned and restored... most g3 are pretty sturdy. The aren’t really that old yet. (I have an Atari in my mom’s garage) I have encountered a similar problem with a g3 pony before, but I passed it on to a customizer because it’s hair was bad, so I never looked inside. You could see if there’s anything damaging the plastic from inside. I’ll follow this post and see what you find out.
