G3 Wysteria Nanco Enquiry

Hello pony friends! So I’m looking for a little bit of help from Generation 3 collectors! I’m attempting to get as close as I can to a complete collection of everything Wysteria! I came across these plushies from Nanco. However, I’m really struggling to find information about them!
I’d, love to own the Wysteria one day. However I’m trying to work out, if these were ever sold? If they were, where? And does anyone actually own one? I’m basically trying to work out how impossible it may be to see it in my collection one day! any info / resources helps!

To be completely honest? I’d love a Cotton Candy and Minty as well! These just look adorable! I’ve taken this image from the My Little Wiki page for the Nanco Plushies!
Which does have some info, but I’m genuinely just wondering if anyone like? Has ever seen a collector own these? / owns one themselves?

In my Wysteria collection so far I have:
Wysteria 1,2,3,4&5! The Jumbo plush of Wysteria, the giant! Pictures below:

^ She’s my pride and joy! She still has her tags and price tags intact! Happy to start a new thread to show her off of people want to see!

I also have, Wysteria Toothbrush holder, Sitting Yarn Hair Plush, Wysteria bubble bath (bottle and pony shaped!) Wysteria make up set and brush. Wysteria Ponyville figure, the TARGET exclusive Gen 4 glittery Wysteria and my Wysteria bed sheets (which in under write now typing this out haha!)

(I’m not including things like, stickers, magazines, books etc! I’m focusing on the larger items!) I know I’m missing the smaller Pyjama pals Wysteria plush, The Easter basket plush. This Nanco plush above! As well as some other merch like hair ties, baubles and Christmas ornaments! However! If you know of a plush or something I should be looking for in my collection? PLEASE do let me know! :O

Im calling upon all purple horsie fans to help me out! I LOVE G3 merchandise? The smallest piece of ‘pony tat’ ? I wanna see it! It fills me with SO much joy! I can’t begin to tell you how much the most random object branded with a pony fills me with endless happiness and, I need it all!

Oh! Yes I do! Thanks for the reminder I forgot to post about that! Silly me! I do indeed it’s been a recent add to my collection! I actually got her new in packaging and I feel a little bad for releasing her from her plastic prison!

I know a little about some of the Nanco plushies. They were sold to fairground and amusement arcades, and they were released in a few different waves. I know the more common ponies, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Sparkleworks, were released in a several different sizes and a couple of poses. I think some others were in the same boat, but those three seemed to be most common (in the UK, at least). As far as I know they were never available for regular retail sale.

I actually have the Pinkie Pie plush from that set - I could scan the tags if that would help at all?

Also, I don't know if it's something you'd consider wanting for your Wysteria collection, but since you mentioned the bubble baths - I know there's a small Wysteria bubble bath pouch with a pink bracelet out there! I have one in storage, but the bubble bath leaked out some time ago. I got it from a clearance tub in Toys R Us way back in the day.

Hey Dreamer! Thanks so much for the response! I’m actually based in the United Kingdom so, if it’s a item that’s more common here? Then winwin for me! Yes I’ve seen the Rainbow Dash Nanco toy listed before, the small one? I figured she was like a crane game toy. Which checks out! Sadly it’s these much larger ones I’m after hah! Just have to make my life difficult!
Well it’s good to know my search may not be completely impossible then! Just need to keep a eye out! And no! :O I don’t believe I’ve heard of that! So I have the bubble bath bottle that has a brush clipped onto the side. I have both the pinkie pie and Wysteria variants. I collect the bubble bath bottles which are shaped like ponies and have rooted hair. I’ve got Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Wysteria so I just need Starcatcher and Rainbow Dash to complete that set!
I’d love to see photos of it if you ever manage to find it out no stress if it’s in storage though!
Yeah the leaking is something I worry about! My rooted Wysteria came half full with bubble bath so I cleaned that out, but my smaller bottles and my rooted pinkie pie are sealed with tags and have the bubble bath inside. Luckily there stored upright in my cabinet so? Hopefully no leaks!

Scanning the tags would be so handy! I’d also just love to see photos! Pinkie is one of my fave ponies as well so it’s always fab to see her!

She’s actually gigantic! Not quite the same size as me! But not far off if I’m honest! My partner has some custom ‘life size’ G4 plushies hand made by a plush maker but? My Wysteria is still larger haha! (And was still cheaper ironically!)
I can 100% believe she would tower over people! Love her to bits though, gentle giant!

As far as I know, the laying Nanco plush came in 2 sizes:

Depending on how they are measured (scale is in inches, as I'm in the US)
Larger one (including tail, not including tail)

Smaller one (including tail, not including tail)

Tag

I bought them off ebay years ago. I'll need some time to check back through my records, and see if I can find any more details!

ThankYou so much for the photos and information Dreamer! Gosh this pinkie looks so cute! I know exactly what kind of texture this material has! I swear I had a Eeyore as a child which was made from the same kinda crunchy but soft velvet texture! It’s super distinct!
I’m so glad I made this post! It’s been great to confirm these are indeed real! Like I said the only photo I could find has this huge not for retail sign so I was a little dubious about if they were a real thing people managed to get a hold of!
It’s given me renewed hope that I can indeed grab one of my own one day! You are all amazing! I’m so glad to be part of this community!

Okay this may be a STRANGE comment but, I instantly recognised your staircase and photos! I’ve found your images SO useful to me constructing my own lists of ponies I’m after (ESPECIALLY for bath products!) - and now I’ve finally encountered you properly!

You have the most incredible collection and I am so very grateful for all the work you do to catalogue all of this! All this information is SUPER useful to me! I’ve just been reading through all of these threads and adding it to my records! I’m so thankful! It’s been difficult to find photos of like ‘real’ people owning these plushies that aren’t product photos to confirm that, they are in fact real! Gosh they are so precious! I have quite a few Gen 3 plushies already as I’ve been working towards a complete Strawberry Swirl collection (I’m SO close! I just need to get her in the Toola Roola pose with her hat and I’ve got everything!) ironically I don’t even like Strawberries! I just think she’s cute!
I didn’t realise it was the same company who produced all of these but - that does make more sense! Hopefully one day I’ll be able to add both sizes to my collection! They look so sweet!

The photos of the Easter basket help a bunch as well! ThankYou so much! I happened to see someone post the Wysteria in a group the other day that alerted me to there existence! I had only ever seen sparkleworks before ( a cute pony but not one I really collect! ) I’m UK based and we don’t go nearly as bonkers for holidays as the USA does so, I could see that being a region exclusive maybe, or difficult to find over here - But I’ll keep my eyes open! I’ve sourced Wysteria from the states and the Netherlands before!

From this lovely and informative comment you left and the threads you linked I found out about a Denim Blue figure as well which shocked me! She was my first G3 and I thought she only had the one release so that’s extra awesome!

I’ve only really started collecting G3 since purchasing my first during the pandemic so, I’m very new to all of this and really massively appreciate everyone’s help!
