Does anyone know of a crochet pattern for G1 style ponies? I've seen a few for the later Styles but G1 is my love

Are you talking about Pony wear or creating a pony itself?

I've been toying with the idea of pattern making LOL
it's a very long and arduous process but ultimately worth it!

the thing I always get caught up on is I am an advanced crochet artist and to get things to look as nice as they do I employ unorthodox methods which is hard to explain to someone who's not very good at crocheting especially in a written pattern!

so many patterns like woobles or crochet bees simply require you to go around and around and I'm a little more advanced then that! lol

What I really need to do is study how complicatedknots on youtube writes her patterns!
as she's on the same level as me in terms of skill!
I wonder if I could contact her directly and pick her brain about crochet pattern making!

Creating a pony itself . Something like collector's pose wouldn't be the hardest but their faces are just so unique, and I love the poses like surprise. The wings would be trickier. Like you, I could figure it out, but I'm just not up for it at the moment because it's so involved. So every now and then I look to see if someone else has done the work

I totally understand what you mean about it being challenging to write what we do in a way that is understandable to others. Videos can make it easier to see that kind of thing but that is also so involved!

How fun that we seem to have at least three things in common, with loving mint green, being crochet artists, and pony collectors! I posted the tubby plush green and pink hippo in case you don't remember .

Yeah! that's one of my favorite things about being on the trading post!
we can find and connect with people who have the same interests as each other in a safe and welcoming place!
It truly is a wonderful place that @MustBeJewel is so kind to keep up with for us! I truly am grateful to her and all of the moderators who keep the gears turning!

Awww,T ubby would enjoy that lol. Somewhere I have digital art with a drawing of sweet pea Pony but I just can't find it to post for my profile pic! I keep hoping I'll find that so I can finally have a picture
