2007 2nd release G1 ponies

I just got skydancer in a lot on ebay, and when I opened the box and saw her, I was like... uh... she doesn't look right.

lmao... I thought I had some varient. she was skydancer, but not the original. and then I looked at her foot. 2007. figures.

she's a hard plastic, and kinda ugly, actually. the hair is thin, and her eyes look odd. all of those traits would be ok for some sort of real varient, but on this *new* pony, she just looks cheap.

ps - are these acceptable to customize? she looks like she'd be a bear to behead and de-hair. the plastic is like, rock hard.

if their eyes weren't so small it would make a world of difference... but OH well, I expect they couldn't copy the originals exactly so they made some changes.

You're right about that. I don't know what they were thinking. The eyes are so important.

As for the customising, I think the general opinion about those ponies is that not as nice as the original, so it's safe to say no one will kill you for customising yours. And after all, it's your pony.
