I have a MIB/MOC 2012 Friendship is Magic Favorites Collection I am thinking about selling.. the one with Nightmare Moon, etc. There are some listings for those on eBay at ~$1000+. People aren't actually paying that much for them, are they??

I also have first wave FiM core ponies, all MIB, as well. Are those worth anything? Thanks!
 
IDK about the value of the set, but I know Twilight, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash are worth some money(Around 40 to 50 bucks. But I recommed on putting it on auction if sold on eBay). The others, I dont know,but I think 20 bucks

When you do a search on eBay there is a box on the left side of the resuts page that you can check to have it display only sold items. It looks like the Nightmare Moon set has sold for as low as $50 and as high as $170 with the average probably being around $100. However, a lot of the higher prices were BIN or sold at the starting bid and regular auctions with multiple bidders seemed to end closer to $70.
 
I would guess the price would be around 70$.. But in auctions it can go either way.

1 000$ is too much and I hope no one will not buy those in that price..
 
I think between 70 to 100 US id about right for the 2012 Friendship is Magic Favorites Collection. Just gotta find the right buyer. $1000 is wishful thinking on the seller's part. Can't blame them though. If you're gonna dream, dream big!

I recently sold some of the First Wave Ponies. I got $25 for Applejack (everyone wanted her because she has the bangs). I got $15 for Twilight and Rainbow. seems I see them selling at $15 to 20 usually. I'm sure others can share their experiences selling/buying them too!
 
Wow, I will have to keep my wave 1 MIPs for a couple of years from now on
 
I thought so... it just seems kinda insane because the $1000 ponies have watchers! Maybe they're all just waiting to see if someone buys it...

I'm pretty sure most of them are watching if somebody buys it that price or if seller lowers the price, Hehee ;). I love to watch some poneys auctions on ebays etc. I have never intend to buy them just like to watch how much someone is willing to pay for her etc. :p I always watch all the Rapunzels in the ebay but never bid cos they are too expensive :p
