Got any big pony resolutions ready for this upcoming new year?
Are you going to complete a set?

I have not finished my 2023 ponylution but ive come very close! was going to try to hit 5000 messages here on the MLPTP, this current message will make 4,139, so i got really really close, but not quite there lol

My new ponylution for 2024 is probably just try not to spend money on ponies, i really really really need to hunker down and get my pony room busted out and organized, im really running out of room to put what i currently have, so i need to stop and find spots for everything i have before i buy more lol

but ill of course still participate in swaps, ill get new ponies that way ♥
 
Hmmm, I don't have one from last year so let's see what I would like
1. Pony wise to add Nightlight, Raindrop, and Brazilian Bowtie back to my Nirvana collection

2. To get the display shelves up in the new home this summer once we move and have my pony area

3. Attend PFF or if it's out of the price range at that time at least one of the closer States meets

4. Get back to making pony plush so I can have an army of them
 
well whatever my ponylution was last year i definitely did NOT finish it this year, lol. money problems & the headspace i'd been in kind of prevented that from happening :unsure: i wish it were different.

i really can't think of a ponylution for next year... maybe try for more playsets??? i only have 2 so far (bloomin blossoms shop, frilly frocks boutique) and i'd love to try to get the ice cream dream supreme truck, butterfly island & maybe crystal rainbow castle again! i used to have them as a kid

:orangeheart: Probably go to Pony Friends Forever convention again.

I have a larger goal for next year to live within a strict budget for the year that only leaves a small fixed hobby and non-necessity fund. Those few things and any $ I make from selling the things I intend to list for sale should cover those things listed above but it’s not going to be a huge collecting year.

:yellowheart: So, finally putting up my sales is another goal, and subsequently getting my collection organized more concretely.
 
The hardest one for me: I’ve gotta spend less money on ponies :break::cry: at least at the beginning of the year (I need to save my money up for another big thing right now, and so I’m basically going to be taking a break from spending any money unless a pony is given to me.)

More generally I would like to have my room more clean and organized so I can have more space for stuff. My pony shelf is a little crowded but okay for now, but if I had more space I would probably be able to organize the big My Pretty Pony and larger styling ponies more easily. (Adding a picture: the larger sized ponies and dolls are kinda getting in the way of part of my video game display lol) The dream is to have my own space and a big room dedicated to fun toys and games, but that’s not going to happen anytime soon lol

Hopefully well get to meet at PFF! if we both get to go lol - hopefully i get to go again too! and i love plush, but sadly, i think im going to get rid of a bunch that i have, i think im ready to let them go.

oh dang, i had a butterfly island i think like 2 years ago, i just gave it away lol - i hope you find some new sets!

im right there with ya bout needing to save some cash! - i need to start saving for some things too, like a wedding! lol dont know when its going to happen, but it would be good to have money saved for it when it does come

man, i wish you so much luck on the room, ive been working on mine since 2020 and its still a mess x_x - but it gets better everytime i work on it!

:star: Organize the random ponies and accessories I’ve amassed that are currently taking over my room, figure out what I genuinely want to keep and pack up the rest to take to some local swaps and conventions.

:star: Figure out some better display options that don’t feel like clutter.

:star: Maybe PFF? Though that might be a 2025 thing depending on how our business moves forward.

:star: Watch/rewatch all the movies and shows.

:star: Inventory my collection so I know for sure what I have, don’t have, and want.
 
I didn't finish my rainbow baby collection, but I did go to ponycon and find ponies in the wild :D

Next year I resolve to make more princess ponies and do some G2 customs from the G2redo ponies!
 
Mostly just to spend a little less on ponies this year....because there's quite a few new Monster High dolls coming up that I want! :lolpony:
But when it comes to ponies, trying to finish a few collections. I only need one flutter pony for them to be complete! I think I'd like to mostly focus on getting Sweetheart Sisters and Princess Ponies :Princesssparkle:

And I want to take my daughter to Whinny City again this year. We went two years ago and she had a blast! The plushie I got her there of one of their mascots became The Precious and goes everywhere with her. It's always fun when someone my age goes "omg is that a my little pony!?" :smile:
 
As soon as my dorm opens back up (where my ponies are currently staying over Christmas break, partying I assume) I’ll be cleaning up my pony shelf, reorganizing, and hoping to finish a custom! I haven’t had much time for pony stuff recently, so I’m excited to spend time with them between semesters. :lolpony: In the meantime, Quackers and I will be living it up since I brought her with me!
 
@Sassarazzmadazzles that would be awesome! I would love to finally meet. The only concern I have this year is the girlfriend and k are moving in together and buying many furniture pieces and planning home things. Depends on how that goes, silly house stuff messing with my ponies!

I collect plush but try to keep it within reason. I actually never keep what I make it usually ends up as gifts or did when I made them regularly. I would like to make a few for myself finally.
 
Sounds like a lot of us are going to try not to spend money on ponies! lol

I really need to not spend on ponies, i think im going to try my hardest not to buy anything til November! (insane, i know)

but i am 100% going to try that xD lol

I really really really need to save money cause i have exactly $0 in emergency savings lol
