Just wondering if this has been posted,
but i found the 1980s 25th celebration, rainbow ponys in target australia yesterday, with the uni s and pegsus.

Omg Yay!!! Sooo going Target shopping tomorrow!! XD Or at least some time this week! Thanks so much for the news!! <3

It's about time! I was losing hope lol. Maybe wait until Thursday because they might be on special then because of the toy sale :) I'm going to look up the catalogue right now.

AUSSIES - Rainbow Reissues @ Target

Sorry if this is old news, I wasn't able to get to a computer on the weekend but...

I found the retro re-release Rainbow sets at Target, $29.99 each (the collector reissues were $39.99). They had heaps in stock and I'm guessing they might be on special for the widely advertised target toy sale coming up... I couldn't wait so I bought the set I was missing anyway!

*edit* to say looks like someone else already posted, me = slow lol

I just made a post but you'd beat me too it. I found them too - my Target had HEAPS of them. I was starting to think we'd never get them!

What great news for our Aussie pony pals! :)

I only have Target Country near me, so i can't get them.:ipmimscs: It's at times like this I wish I lived in the city instead of a rural town in the middle of nowhere.

Im hoping they are going to be discounted in the Target Toy Sale that starts today........

SS:)

Good Luck SS, I hope they are to, be sure to let us know how you go.

My Mum works at the Target warehouse and silly me didn't think to ask her to get me one. So I asked her last night and she has held them, she said they are gorgeous. Mum's going next week as she has long hours today and tomorrow because of the Toy Sale. Fingers crossed she gets me one. :sunny:

Has anyone discovered if they are on special during the sale? $29.99 seems reasonable to me, but I would much rather get them for cheaper if it's possible. The catalogue doesn't mention it.

I dunno if they on special for the Toy Sale, and it doesn't really seem like it. =\ I was looking through the Website catalogue and it's not mentioned them at all, or at least not where I can see them...

Gah, I just hope that I'd be able to find a set of them. I've been having rotten luck with any other new ponies. >_<

I think $30 is reasonable considering the collector's pose set cost $40 when they first came out! I bought mine for the full Australian price and went home to find that they were SGD$26.90(AU$23) back home. Sigh... lol

Gah, that's unlucky goldenclopper >_< Maybe you'll make up for that lost money on a later sale where ponies are cheap. ;)

I managed to get my set today - whoo! - and I asked whether they were meant to be at a reduced price or not because the retro-rainbows didn't have the orange tag (with reduced price) they used for the other toys on special. I think they said that they were meant to be $39.99, but are being sold for $30... though when scanned it doesn't indicate a price reduction, so I dunno...

I'm a little disappointed that the symbols are rather poorly done, and that a few of them there had obvious factory errors - smudge on eye paint, dirt on plastic, etc though I'm prolly just picky - but otherwise, yay! I feel inspired XD

I just bought my rainbows today, - for $20.

There was a tag labeling them as $20, but when they were taken to layby, I was told that it was wrong, because they were supposed to be $30, but they only charged me $20.

But my sister has heard over at the Arena, that a few Aussies have had the same problem?!

So if anyone sees the mistake, definantly question it, because it is a huge saving. :)

$20!! Dang, I want to nag them about it now - that's a big saving if they're at $20 each. >_< Grawr Target...

Though, if they aren't supposed to be at $20, then you got lucky. XD :3 I'm pretty sure that a store must sell the item to the customer at the price it's labelled, hence why they've only charged you $20. But that also prolly means that they would have now put up the $30 price tag for them, because it does sound like that they've made a mistake with their tags. though, it's odd to think it has happened at more than one Target. =\
