Yes this belpongs here; I did 2 new Glory customs Monday, so I have offically hit the 100 mark! Weeeeee

First off a Candy Cane Glory:
She's rerooted in really long DH Sour Grapes and Mermaid that I curled myself. Idk why the roots on the mane didn't hold...I might redo it it eventually, and the forelock curl's a little too tight too, but meh, i love it. The tail came out perfectly-I'm getting better at curling things ^^ And I retouched her symbols with mettallic paint (purple hand mixed). I just thought she'd make a lovely Candy Cane pony and I was right ^^
And now, for #100 in my glory-ous :lol: army...:
An emo-/anti-valentine remix Glory, really inspired by Make Me Wanna Die by The Pretty Reckless and Bye Bye Beautiful by Nightwish (don't ask why I just like those songs ^^
Now this girl has a big story to her. You see, this was a Bowtie who was naked. She was a nice bright white EXCEPT she had chews and a chunck of the rifght side of her face missing. And that made me sad because she was such a nice white, but the only way to use her face would've been to sculpt an that would require a FBR so the white would be wasted. So the I thought "why not give her a mask" so I took this G1 random head I had and cut it up to make a mask, so then I thought "I'll do an emo-val Glory cause it was a Glory head" and I thought that was all great and dandy. However, when I got her all painted, and all haired, and ready to add the mask I realiozed that I liked her better without it even WITH her chewedness and scarring. So I now have a cut up head I can't use really (until Oct make...) and this girl has scarring, but y ou know what Idc and since she's staying in my collection it doesn't matter!
So then the stats yes? :lol: She was a nekkid G3 Bowtie (she had a mowhawk when I got her), so all her painting was done freehanded by me and sealed with satin varnish. Her symbol is a tribal cascade of stars in purple that's mimiced under her blue left eye; her right eye is purple. She has light purple accents and silver eye shadow. Her black star choker is fitted and removeable; the glitter purple bands are removeable too. Her hair blend though is just too gorgeous to describle; the purple is a mix of DH's Death by Bolugnaville blend, Ultraviolet (which is the G3 purple in like SB and is soft texture wise like Snowflake) and Sour Grapes, while the blue is After Midnight, Forget me not, Water Nixie, and Mermaid. It is just so stunning how all the purples blend so well together, ra...unfrtunately I used the last of my Sour Grapes so I can't repeat it any time soon ^^; But it really is stunning. the pigtails were a last minute idea that turned out so great; I just love the look they give her.
I just love her over all, wich is great since she's my 100th Glory ^^ She sorta makes me wanna try an Argie remix to go with her...or a Sparta of sorta; a black emo-tine could look cool...XD;;
Anyways, tadur! Two new pretty Glorys for my grazy insane custom army ^^
Oh and since I left this out of my brag thread, check out how much display space they take up:
Yes, they are 2 deep (and in a few cases 2 high ^^; ) on those blue shelves, but there are 100 Glorys in that small packed space. Unfortuneately Idt I can fit anymore in there ^^; Here's hoping I get more space when we play musical rooms at my house...^^;
