Hello all! Not long ago I bought the talking Queen Chrysalis, whooo boy was she ghastly! Hasbro had covered her in horrible painted socks and jewels. Plus since they are lazy and use the same mold for every pony she had hoof shoes and the wrong wing style. So I took it upon myself to make her more show accurate. This is the progress picture, I've smoothed off the shoes and removed most of the paint. I also cut her ears off, gasp! Why would I do that?! Well I'm making her show accurate remember, those ears that stick right up do not look like the Queen I know, they had to go. Once she has her holes drilled, wings cut and horn and crown molded I'll give her a fresh lick of paint as well. So what is everyones thoughts so far? Do you approve of the change or did you like Chrissy better with socks haha!

All I have to say, is more power to you~ some of us just have to strive for accuracy. :smilepony:

I totally get the feel of "making this the Queen I know". We hack and slash ears, muzzles, eyeballs, torsos, legs- what ever is necessary to get the creation we strive for.

Looking good so far, can't wait to see her done up!

She's looking so much better already! Nice job!

Rock-on! She looks great! Woo hoo! Excellent divine!

Looking good so far! I can't wait to see the final product, I'm glad someone's doing this because I've wanted to make her show-accurate on several occasions :)

Ooh, I love the in-progress shot. Can't wait to see how she looks with show-accurate Swiss cheese legs. :winkpony:

Those holes look great! You put in just enough so the legs still have stability.

It hasn't been easy I tell ya haha. I goofed one of her hooves a little, it's the one not touching the ground. Doing my best to even out the mistake but I drilled one to many holes in that hoof. Still, holes are nearly done, just need to proper smoothing. Same with the wings, I've cut out a rough outline and just need to add some holes and smooth them out. Then it's on to making her horn and finishing her ears.

Looks super cool so far! I look forward to seeing the end result!

Can't wait to see when she is finished :) She will be awesome because right now the progress is looking very good ;)

I'm really excited to see what she looks like when she's done, I wish they had an accurate toy for her.

HOLEY CHEESE!
This is a cheesy queen!
No wonder she is so holey...

Puns are bad, I know.

Nice work with Chrysalis here!
