G3 A Very Minty Christmas Pony ID Question

Aren’t the ponies between pinkie and minty, sno glow and toboggan?

I think that the one next to Minty is actually Sparkleworks, but next to Pinkie it could be Toboggan

I feel like sparkle would be more orange, but maybe it’s the lighting

Alright, I did some investigating. The purple pony is Toboggan, here she is with her cutie mark at another point in the song

You’ll notice, however, that the pink pony has no cutie mark in this frame either, but is not orange as would be expected for Sparkleworks.

They actually never animate a cutie mark on that pink pony for the entirety of the socks song, so there’s no way to completely confirm, and there seems to be some debate about who it is.

The pink pony could potentially be Sno-Glo, as she seems to always appear next to Toboggan and they were both Target exclusive releases in 2005 along with a Minty version wearing socks. She also seems to have green eyes, as is consistent with the toy of Sno-Glo



However, there are also some that think this is actually Valenshy. Valenshy does appear at other times in this movie with a cutie mark and has a similar color scheme. But, Valenshy has blue eyes on her toy and in other scenes in the movie, so I don’t think this is Valenshy. Despite this, Valenshy’s wiki page claims the pink pony in question is her.


Personally, I think the pink pony is Sno-Glo, but maybe her design wasn’t finalized so they didn’t add a cutie mark. Or she could just be a general stand-in pony.

Awesome! That’s what I thought! It makes complete sense because Sno glo and toboggan were released that year with minty
