1 G1 accessory. I am sure it is greatly missed by its owner.
1 G3 accessory. It is probably not worth anything, but if you want it back I will send it to you.

If you lost a G1 or G3 accessory at the fair, please email me with the following filled out. If you post it here, I will have no way of telling if any following claims are valid, so I will be forced to raffle/sell the accessory to support the 2006 fair.

Fill this out and EMAIL it to me.

1. What accessory are you missing? G1 or G3? What material is it made of? What color is it?

2. Which days were you at the fair?

3. Where did you last see your accessory? Where do you suspect you lost it? (if different from where you had it last. For examle: "The last time I remember seeing it was by the custom contest entries, but it probably fell out of my pocket when I pulled out my wallet to buy some coffee outside the convention hall." FYI, that was not the right answer, just an example.)

4. Did you buy it at the fair or bring it there to sell it?

5. Finally, would you like it back? (I would be happy to send it free to anyone in the continental US, as long as you don't care how it is shipped.

I would suggest that you just name the accessory that was found... I seriously doubt that someone would be dishonest about it. Besides, I brought an entire collection of pony wear to the fair as well as a bunch of argie baby accessories. If I knew what it was that was found I could check and see if I was missing it... If I even had brought the particular accessory.

Obviously this would be different for someone who only brought big brother hats and one of those was lost, but for those of us who brought tons of things... a simple accessory could easily go unnoticed and I for one would be very upset to see it go off for sale even if the money did go to support the fair if it was mine.

Sweet tune, I am sorry you have so much stuff to sift through, but yes, there are dishonest pony people out there. I am taking my time to do this out of the goodness of my heart. I could easily have kept it or sold it for my profit without even posting, or done so if it was not claimed. I thought it would be a nice thing to do to sell it to support the fair. I could have a vote, and if everyone agrees and it is not claimed, I could just give it away. I had no idea I would upset anyone. I thought I was doing the right thing.
 
I wouldn't name the accessory, either. There've been plenty of stories about accessories and ponies gone missing from meets. I think you're doing it exactly right :).

If way too much time passes with no claims I may give a general idea of what the G1 accessory is, just to give people an idea of where to look. I would also just flat-out say what the G3 accessory is. I doubt anyone would really care.

Wysteria, if you need to know what I bought from you, I would be happy to let you know, and I am sure others would as well. But I believe you had an inventory, right? I doubt this was an item you lost, but you never know.
 
I keep hearing about stuff going missing at pony meets, but I have only heard of one instance of this and that was Ponypalozza. I'm curious at what meets and what went missing.

Not to jump this thread, it's just a recent thought

We are missing Four Speed's Purple Bandana! Dan dropped it!! We lost it on day two. I had just bought it for him as his very last BB accessory he needed to complete the set and he was so upset about losing his gift. He didn't notice it was gone until after the fair. Last time we saw it it was looped around his nametag.

OMG, I hope you found it!!! *crosses fingers and toes*

Sorry about not emailing, but if you found this... we'd pay shipping to get it back.

I figured it didn't matter if I posted here since I was going to anyway to inquire if anyone found one.
