Advice on Sunshine ponies. :-)

Ok, so I got a reeeealy nice Shoreline in a lot last night, her hair is perfect! None of that frizz you often get with sunshine ponies..everyone's getting ready for their beauty salon trip.. the question is, should I wash and condition Shoreline's hair? Does anyone know what causes that sunshine hair frizz?

I dont know - but would like to know! I thought it was down to them having curly hair? I have my childhood one, and she has minging hair bless her! its very course...

It's the type of hair that causes the frizz (on most of them, the normal hair is actually fine) and conditioning can actually help frizzing a bit, so you're plenty safe using that.

If your ponies hair is perfect then you probably do not have to wash her but a little extra cleaning with shampoo and conditioner won't hurt.

I would leave it alone, largely. Run a little water through it, set it how you want it to be displayed, and then leave it be.

In my (limited) experience, washing doesn't inspire frizz in Sunshine pony hair as much as brushing does. Of course, the degree of vigor one applies to either act determines what, if any, damage is done.

Thanks ladies! I've learned that it's better to ask before even cleaning some ponies. Nothing feels worse than trying to get a tiny little bit of dirt of a pony and messing her up!
