I de-flocked Magic Star a while back as she was very sad looking and re-haired her (very badly) with green hair but it stuck out an odd right angle. :oops:

So on finding her out again I thought I would take out her horrendous hair-do and give her an alternative look! :D

She is really gorgeous, i love how the pink in her hair picks out the pink in her symbol :)

I love her. The purple and pink hair match her symbol and eye color, and she looks almost tropical. Now I have to admit, I'd like to see that 'right-angle' hair do if you still have pictures LOL
 
Wow! She looks really good! How exactly did you deflock her so nicely? I'm working on one myself and though I have most of the fuzz off she's not smooth.
 
Stunning, I didn't think anyone could improve on Magic Star but you matched the colors to her eye's and symbol prefectly. Beautiful!!

Edit: Do I see a little yellow in there to or is that just glare on the green hair??

I would have taken a picture if I wasn’t so ashamed of the horrendous job I did on her. Note to self never buy cheep hair!

I used a combination of nail polish remover (which is essentially acetone) and boiling water. The very hot water started to melt the glue the fuzz is stuck on with and made it easier for the nail polish remover to remove it. It did however take a lot of effort to get it off still but it was worth it in the end.

No there is just green, purple and pink. Having yellow in there as well is a nice idea though.

I am currently working on a deflocked Lofty who will be re-haired in a similar style, so watch this space!....but to be honest it may take me a while :lol:

I really love her with those hair colors.
Makes me wish that I had thought of rehairing my deflocked Magic Star with something other than the traditional green but what's done is done.
You did a wonderful job on her, I like her better than the original.
