Alura - first winged pony, first time with curls

the wings are craft wire and angelina film - so you cut the wire into the spines of the wing and apply film over the wires (I glue a tiny bit to hold it) and then sort of shrink-wrap the film to the wire using an heat source = for me I used an embossing gun. Than to finish it off it's a bunch of glitter glue = glitter glue is great also because in case you miss a bit sealing the film, you can then go over with the glue = viola! all fixed and looks even better now ;-)

and Skig, funny you should mention that hair blend = I cannot count the MLP G3 tails I used bits from, plus a cabbage patch pony = purple glitter, dollar store blue, oh and my favorite since I didn't have any black = I undid a nylon rope piece I had lying around :) (that was a neat trick a fellow pony person told me (oh yeah - it's nylon - rope undone = pony hair)

one of these days I may buy retrodoll or dollyhair, but for now I have plenty of tails I can recycle

Stunning! Did you make the wings yourself? If so I'm totally jealous of the results you got for your first time - awesome!
