a new meaning for the phrase "Rainbow Ponies.. "

this isn't permanent because I have more on the way, but I'm going to fit the ones coming in with the others. Also missing from the picture are Breezie and Scooter Sprite, and my very minty Dazzle Surprise.

But yeah, this is the beginnings of my pony room, and how it's going to be.

the only thing that was hard about it was getting the shelves to stay, cutting cheap cardboard for ponies to stand on in the back (granola bar boxes, soda boxes, plastic fork boxes.. lucky charms too), and then there's the fact that the ponies kept jumping into the canyon that is the space between the desk and wall. Boy, was that a pain.


But it is pretty cool looking, isn't it?

Yah, I organize my ponies by color too! It looks more fun than if they'd be organized by series, I think.

i'm the oposite - i HAVE to have al the colors mixed up and will freak if there are 2 of the same color too close together - gets kinda difficult when PINK outweights all the other colors

I did that for a while with my G3s, but it became really difficult to have to move everyone when I got a new pony. Now they are just organized by year/set.

I was wondering when someone was going to notice the signs.. I had to take down the ONE WAY to make room for the top shelves, though.

I dig the rainbow of ponies!!!

I have mine set up on a 2' by 3' art desk. I put the first mail order playmat on the table and set Celebration Castle and Cotton Candy Cafe. Then had all my ponies arranged like they are in Ponyland.

I have too many ponies now though, I have to buy some shelves. I cant really display them anymore, looks more like Pony China than Ponyland. :roll:

Do you think in the middle of the night the ponies get all out of order and eat the lucky charms in that box? and then at about 6 am they go "oh dear! we have to get back into rainbow formation before we're found out!"?

Or am I just crazy?

I'll admit I don't color coordinate, but I love our displays! I like how you are reusing the cardboard too. I'm a big conservative like that!
