G1 Anyone grow up with G1 ponies?

Cotton Candy was my second purchase for myself years back when I was getting back into ponies. I know she is common, but I do like her. I just can't figure out her symbol and name. She is one of those G1's that has a name that makes no sense if you compare it with the symbol.
 
well actually I read that Cotton candy's symbol is supposed to be like an Appaloosa pattern. I never knew that until I read about it.
 
I have fond memories of going with my mom to her friend's house and playing with all the MLP toys her daughter had outgrown. I remember thinking they were the most beautiful horses I'd ever seen, and why my cousins (who both rode real horses as a hobby) never had horses like that! I could play with those cuties for hours, especially the tiny babies!

Unfortunately all my ponies are probably unhappy being stuck in boxes and bins. I think they will plot their revenge on me if I dont smarten up and move from this blasted place. I replaced my Strawberry shortcake dolls I have alot more now. Though I haven't worked on buying more the Seaponies calleth me. :D

Lovely I've got my plush starshine MIP so no cuddles for me lol. Love my sea ponies had to replace my childhood ones as the went funny, still collecting lots of Moc but tempted to open them lol.

I feel better than I did. I believe I am over my cold just a dry cough left. Boy that week was a doozy I hope this week is better for me. Good luck on finding new seaponies the are really cute the baby ones I havent seen the newer G4 seaponies but once they come out I probably get em.
