So I went into Walmart the other day and they had these posters in boxes. I got a few and was wondering if anypony else knew what they were for or what was the deal with them.

Sorry about the pictures my house had awful lights so I took them outside on the lawn.

There are 4 different posters so I got a few of each.

If anypony is interested in them PM me. Or if you have any info why they were just sitting in boxes at Walmart.
 
They're just a promo thing, as far as I can tell. I didn't even notice them when I first went by the display. Then my boyfriend came up and he was like "HEY! They have placemats!" and I was like "Huh?" so I went to look.

He saw some guy grab like a half-inch stack of each so he thought they were placemats. BUT it gave me an idea to perhaps laminate them!
 
Gonna have to check Wally world tonight! I so want a set! Those are cute.

Yeah. I only took one of each (except I did take two maps of Equestria). I am sure that guy was going to try and sell them on ebay, I have already seen a few pop up there.
 
They are not supposed to be free, its supposed to be one poster PER pony purchase.
That being said, I took like 10 and ran out of the store:icon_smile_lachuh:

Exactly what I was thinking...

How unlike the MLP spirit... gobbling up as many as you can.
Not thinking of others.... :naughty: <-------

Don't buy more than 2 of each - preferably 1 of each.
Have some heart for those who dont know about the posters yet.
Those who cant get to the store as quick as you can.
By the time they do get there... greedy people have already gobbled them all up.
No doubt... hoping to sell the extra copies on ebay for double or triple the original price. What lovely people we have in the world.... :icon_razz1:

I keep hearing about these, but I've never seen them in my area. Gone to Wal-Mart a few times looking for them. Totally want that royal wedding one. So cute!Anyone who managed to get even one is lucky, lucky. ^.^
 
My store has a ton of these. I can try and grab some for people. You can't see ours the sides are hidden.
 
I would have thought you COULDN"T sell them if they were a free thing....

weird. Shows how much I know about the internet selling world.

If someone is able to grab a few extra I wouldn't mind paying you for shipping and a little extra for your time or do a trade perhaps. But there is no way I would pay upwards of $15 for ONE o_O And if you really wanted a few people have uploaded print quality scans to places like deviant art so you can download them and print them.

Sometimes I think the MLP Spirit is dying. It is sad to see how much greed there is in the community now. I used to have so much fun with the people on these boards. Now... Some people are just down right rude. Yep, very, very sad.
